Pilot Carolyn Grace lost her life to a car accident in December 2022. RIP to her and I hope she's joined her pilot husband and the lost vets to fly the Spitfire eternally in the afterlife.

As a 28 yr old cop in Sunderland 1990 i went see an old couple who had their shed broken into. Over tea in their living room i remarked on a spitfire picture over the fire. "that was my plane in the war" he said. His wife was standing behind him and nodded smiling. I felt like saluting him because to my generation they were our heros. Ill never forget that day.
His face at 0:33...... you just know he's back 60 years, ready to do it all again. God bless these guys, if the need ever arises I just hope this generation can stand up the way they did
That's the best Fighter Plane they built, it still gives me goose bumps watching it fly, and Hat's off to the Pilot's that are still with us today, I feel sad for the nightmares they have, you know they had to fly it as a part of them, God Bless you All.. 😉
