HAS ANYONE EVER BEEN CURIOUS ABOUT WHAT IT COSTS FOR SALMON IN CALIFORNIA?? Since there’s a NO FISHING FOR SALMON EXCEPT KOKANEE! In California a 20lb chinook close to $800.00 DONT ask. What it costs for a 2lb steak of chinook! Trust me if you got kids looking at going to college in California send them to Europe! Big Mac meal $21.00 need I say more!
If I recall, aren't these episodes broadcast to television? they may have exclusivity rights to deal with not to mention their average video only gets a few hundred views to a few thousand views, YT may not be the priority. Also at this point if you are not out fishing an area already.... its time to be planning your fall trips so this is pretty good timing to plan driving, lodging, boat access etc.
They are, we move them to RU-vid after 6 months of broadcast TV. You're spot on, RU-vid videos are great for researching and finding new locations to explore.
Anyone planning to fish Lake Whatcom or Samish must keep in mind that they do not allow 2-cycle engines, and there is a checkpoint for invasive plants and invertebrates on boats and trailers. Just more local government gatekeeping.
I was fishing a bass tournament on Banks last July and I caught several 24”+ walleye in less than 10 FOW on jerkbaits and crankbaits. Only time I’ve ever been disappointed with catching walleye.
I worked at a Electronic recycling company and we worked with disabled veterans and disabled people. The one disabled veterans was a avid fisherman. And his dream was to start a company that disabled veterans and other disabled people could go out and fish on a pontoon boat. Or just take a ride on the river or lake .he ended up having a stroke and couldn't finish his dream I've just recently retired and am wanting to get his dream started but I'm going to need help getting this started. So any information you can give me or anyone else who would like to get this business started would be great appreciated thanks.
Hi Dave, What an inspiring story. Reach out to organizations supporting disabled veterans and individuals with disabilities as research. Although we don't work with any directly, it could be beneficial to get involved with local non-profits.
@@Noraarm Thanks very much for that Info. I've never seen one before, or even heard of them. Odd since its a named brand. One size and one color but reviews look good on Amazon.
Interesting tip. Working on this should also make teaching the double haul, especially the forward haul part, easier, as this tip should keep your line hand closer to the stripping guide.
Hey, I’m checking out your channel really good stuff. My family has turned me onto that jetty for other reasons but I wanna go back and fish it do you charter or do you recommend anybody who made charter that area please respond if you can’t it’s cool luck out there.
I won't buy Rapala plugs anymore. Last few years we experienced many bills falling off during use, even on brand-new lures. I had a small container on my boat for collecting lure parts, it was full of Rapala bills! I don't know if they changed their glue formula to be more environmentally friendly, but the current glue performs like it is water soluble. No more Rapala's in my tackle box.
Its 2024 and most everything in this video is the same 😂. The boat ramp is worse, the centerlake has been turned into a lily swamp and the "shallow section" can get to 12" shallow depending on time of year.
Good to learn how to clean a burbot. But that is a completely horrible way to keep the meat clean. You're mixing it with the stomach contents! Both at your cutting table as well as your glove! Yuck!
