Hi! We got a pair of those shoes for all the girls in the US before we left. They were @Keenfootwear and they honestly didn't hold up that great, which was a bummer for the price we paid. We have since replaced them.
Yeah this was a year ago so maybe they do now. Went to a giants game in Tokyo about a month ago and I think they were taking cards. But we brought cash so not completely sure. Thanks for watching.

If you guys make it back to Hakone, I strongly recommend the Hakone Open Air Museum...because it is more like an incredible outdoor kids park that truly is a piece of interactive art. It would be perfect for the girls! The affogato coffee at the coffee shop is worth the wait and there is a nice hot springs foot bath to enjoy when you are done!
For the future, if you need to grab something inside the gates but are not taking a train the gate office will sometimes let you through or give you a special pass so you can hop in if you ask them. We do it sometimes to get the train station stamps or even popping into my favorite bakery chain. We return to Japan again and again with our kids to enjoy memories of when we lived there and we are so overjoyed to see you all love it as much as we do.

Mammy and Daddy's Tokyo Night Adventure! Gyoza has a thin membrane-like substance, which the Japanese call "hane" (WIngs). This creates a crispy texture, which is what many Japanese prefer. I think beer is best for crispy & juicy dumplings. Thanks for the fun video!
