Musique agréable mais quels commentaires ? Qu'est ce qui vient du Château de Versailles, ou du Louvre , de l'Antiquité ? Copies, ou sculptures authentiques ? On ne le sait pas en arrivant et on ne le saura pas en partant. He😮ureusement que les cartels sur place sont bien faits. Seulement il faut y être, sur place, et c'est fatiguant (d'expérience 😢). Il est vrai que rien que les voûtes sont si belles. Comme celles de l'Orangerie où paraît il iront certaines de ces sculptures. Les pierres de toutes ces voûtes dont d'une très belle couleur. Quelle roche, quel calcaire ? Merci quand même.

This is not "le Trianon", wich is the name of the all specific estate within Versaille estate; this is specifically the château called "Le Grand Trianon" to avoid any misunderstanding with the other château in the Trianon estate, called "Le Petit Trianon. Please, be more precise with your title.
Le Grand Trianon was built for Louis XIV, at the end of the XVII° century, 1687, by Jules Hardouin-Mansart. The furnishings of the interiors are mainly Empire style (early XIX° century) though, because Napoléon I used to spend time here and had the Trianon refurbished.
Those people that lived here did so on the backs of the working class whose earnings paid for all this grandeur. The working class had to live in shabby dwellings.. Just isn't right.
