hee iI have been doing classical ballet for 9 years now and I am 13 and I now dance 5 days a week and I also want to become a super dancer when I grow up. Do you have any tips and how early you started?
i’m getting my first pair of pointe shoes soon and my balance is very iffy. i want to darn and some ppl are saying it’s not good for beginners. does it matter or should i darn my shoes. cos i dont want to do it then not like it or it ruined my shoes also do you use normal yarn or a certain type of thread cos as a crocheter i have tons of yarn but if thats not right then i wont use it
I don't think it matters too much. If you think it will help you absolutely give it a go! Maybe ask your teachers/coaches what they think is best for you as well. You can always try and if you don't like it you know for next time. It shouldn't ruin your shoes if you do it correctly. As for the yarn, I think crochet wool should be fine, you can see what I use in this video, just as long as it isn't too soft. Some people use very thin or thick too, I guess it's just about experimenting and seeing what works for you of course. I hope this helps <3
