Proudly based in the wild southwestern state of New Mexico and headed by Matthew Evans, Los Metates Studios is a crossover between great filmmaking and adventures in the outdoors.
For years, we've been making shorts, feature films, and adventure competitions, almost all of which have been filmed amidst the rich outdoor vistas of our home state of New Mexico. Now, we're taking you deeper into the wild with a new emphasis on the intersection between high-quality filmmaking and exploring and enjoying the great outdoors.
If you're an outdoor enthusiast who also loves enjoying great films (and perhaps learning about how to make them too!), Los Metates Studios is the place for you. Join us! Adventure awaits!
I've been listening to a podcast about screenwriting called "The Q&A with Jeff Goldsmith" and I've found it immensely helpful for my writing and quite interesting to listen to for filmmaking tidbits too.
I’m also doing it right now. I’ve been writing since I was a child and was really thinking where I could pour my focus into and didn’t really consider making a script. Would love to see your growth ❤❤
@@LosMetatesStudios They’ve been going good so far. On a consistent basis and the deadlines for some of em are coming up soon so fingers crossed they pick me!
As for my own progress I did not send any auditions today. However I am ok with that as I gave myself a break to play the new Bo6 beta. I’ll be back tomorrow though with double the usual to make up for it!
As a voice actor I can attest that it doesn’t matter how much you accomplish it only matters that you did something. I will now be using this series as a way of tracking my own accountability; with every new video I will ask myself “did I send an audition today”
I love this! And I totally agree, consistency is the key above anything else! Thanks for joining along with your own challenge, I think that's awesome!
Romans 8:38-39 "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Best episode! Even though I like Noah. Alex throwing a challenge and being willing to be the fake vote for a blindside was risky but paid off and got him in with Dan and Luke who have been running the show.
Emma made the wrong move… Luke deserved to sit in final three, absolutely. I was scared Daniel would be the runner-up again, but I’m very happy with the turnout. Player of the episode: Daniel
