I highly recommend you take this program only if you come from a math, statistics, or pure finance background due to the quant nature. Coming from a ucl grad. They will not teach you basics in class
Great content. However, Mikko Hyppönen said Mompha is HushPuppi. No. He's not. They're 2 different individuals... even from the IG screen shots. Mompha is still free BTW while HP is in US gov't custody.

The Msc Information Security course provides little to no support for employment and has very limited industry connect. During my time, I remember getting 1 email about applying through an existing collaboration and even that was led by the relationship with a specific professor and not with the University. For international students, its an even bigger challenge.

@@fmls9280 Prioritize learning, the carrer will take care of itself. If you are an international student needing a visa to work, then you have a decision to make. Gettimg a job as an internati9nal student is very very difficult.If you are in the coding/development area, know some python, C and assembly then it will be good learning. Else you will struggle. I would suggest you also look at Warwick, bristol and royal Holloway's programs. Specific to the uniqueness in the UCL program, I dont think there is anything.

Is it possible studying computer sciences even if you do not really have any knowledge about it?..I didn't really have the option to learn something about it at school but I am absolutely interested in studying computer sciences
@@PiyushBhakat Yh, its the students responsibility. Universities in the UK are not looking to market themselves to students (unlike Indian engineering colleges who constantly boast about placements and packages), Indian students have to learn to be more individualistic and independent here.
CH4N4KY4SWR4TH I'm from Iran and I read my Meng there..... I didn't like the way the east "Asians" hardly ever spoke English amongst themselves in public library or in labs. Nothing against Asians. I am a West Asian.
What Tobias said. The reason is because a lot of software that is used is Nix based, and mac is nix based (although Windows is starting to integrate it into Windows) so that they can use a lot of the software that is in their coursework without having to run Linux. Another thing is that you can run Windows on a Mac, but it is really hard to run macOS on a PC, and I don't know of any laptops that can at the moment (Google hackintosh).
