5:38 this unnatural Db is what gives jazz it's essence. I hope that you can explain it because that is what I struggle with explaining. This single note changes the sound of that section. You also do it a few seconds on. I genuinely don't think this is something that can be taught, just an intuitive thing. Sounds wrong since it's not in the scale, but it's meant to be.
You may want to speak a little slower and enunciate so we can understand the beginning and end of each word I had trouble understanding what you were saying
