@@StardustLegacyFighter no i haven't, but on the side of the controller box it lists for xbox series x/s, not xbox one models, maybe that goes without saying? who knows i hope i could be wrong though and it does actually work with xbox one s
@@jakeboss2653Some ppl have gotten their new pro controllers to work with older consoles like the PS3, so you may be able to get this to work with the One S.
That's typical behaviour for hall effect joysticks tbh, and it's only an issue if the drift is very severe. Even my Vader 4 Pro, which is considered to be the best hall effect controller atm, has a slight drift right out of the box. Some controllers like the KK3 Max have built-in deadzones that make it appear that there is no drift, but that doesn't mean hall effect joysticks have 0 drift at 0 deadzone.
Il definitely wait for the TE edition... Gamesir is also releasing a g7 pro. I have more faith in them than Razer currently ONLY because of how AWFUL their customer support is.
I got one and love it. I would say the battery is not as good as the Xbox elite. It feels very premium and sticks are precise. My one gripe is that you can't remove the back paddles but apart from that I'm impressed
@StardustLegacyFighter yeh is does but shame about the quality issues I've had stick drift and buttons failing on 3 controllers and I really look after my things. If it ain't hall effect I ain't buying from now on
I bought this controller and I like it. Buttons feel crisp. They fixed the design of the back paddles and it's way more ergonomic than the v2 chroma Cons.. after tax it's $305 cnd. Doesn't come with a charge dock in the case and no pass-through charging to charge it in the case. They didn't even make it compatible with their own charging docks as well as having crap all for included accessories beside 2 thumbsticks.
To be fair, most pro controllers don't exactly come with a docking station, as I've only seen the Elite series 2 and the Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra utilise it. However, in this case, they absolutely should have tried to make it compatible with their own products. I'm not too fussed about the lack of thumbsticks, as most other pro controllers don't come with more than the standard set of 2 (one long and one short).
@StardustLegacyFighter stealth ultra, elite series 2, 8bitdo ultimate, bigbigwon rainbow pro 2, powera ops v3, beitong zeus 2, Mamba One, gamesir t3 pro. All come with charging stands or have them available separately and are half the price or less.
Premature decision the controller is only new in the market the stick drift is a calculations issue not hardware issue with a firmware you will get 0.0002 stick drift as with all other controllers that offer Hall effect sticks meaning the stick drift will not exist. That’s a calibration that will be added 99% certain of Guilikit hat it, Gamesir has it, Flydigi has it etc… so yeah Razer will have it too.
@@martyplaysgames949 the question is when will they have it?? Even Deadzone 1 which is huge didnt help in my case. Thats terrible for a 230€ Controller. How can they mess this up?
@@reijhinru1474 Thats how hall effect controllers "work" the deadzones when low can give drift. If you want absolutely zero drift just adjust your stick deadzones higher till they don't drift anymore that simple.

@@reijhinru1474 It is though the controller polling rate is 1khz which is a massive upgrade compared to your standard xbox controller(125hz). With hall effects you have the choice to set your in game deadzones or in app deadzones its about finding which set up is best for you and the game you are playing. What game you play the most?
Controller seems amazing, but i have a few gripes which are stopping me getting it: 1. Quite expensive at 200 2. No gyro. Granted no Xbox controller does, but it's still a missing feature especially for the price 3. Can you confirm this, but I don't believe you can remap the buttons to keyboard inputs on PC, which is a shame getting 6 entire extra buttons, but not able to fully utilise them
1. $200 is a lot for a controller, but it's about the norm for a controller like this. If you're primarily playing on PC, then maybe the Tournament Edition is a better choice anyway. It has almost all the same features, except it's wired. But it is half the price. 2. You're right. What games would you use a gyro with? 3. We haven't been able to find any documentation that states if you can map to keyboard inputs.
The wire tournament Edition is coming September 26th. Only 99 bucks. Everything's the same except the wire and it actually has faster response time being wired. That's the one I'll be getting
If you're on PC you need to download a mapper tool. I used to use reWASD but a lot of games aren't compatible with it anymore because people would abuse it. Gaining aim assist on mouse. I used to use it on my controller for Fortnite but now it disables my aim assist. But I feel the reason why they haven't added any keyboard inputs is because it's a pro controller used in real tournament etc so no macros or turbos which is considered cheating I guess?
The new app is a complete disaster even 4 MONTHS after the release. It was a cash grab just to launch their new headphones. The app is infested with bugs, their support is non-existent, and their CEO is tone-deaf to loyal customers and is providing the public with a masterclass on what NOT to do in business. The Sonos stock went off a cliff in May, dropping nearly 30% in value at the time I'm writing this, and their shareholder meeting scheduled for 8/7 should be pretty interesting as the quarterly earnings will undoubtably show that headphone sales aren't enough to offset angry customers that are abandoning Sonos after being completely disrespected. Basic features and system instability have made the products unusable. Doesn't matter how good the hardware is, when customers are held hostage by the software, which is proprietary. This isn't the first time customers have been screwed by Sonos' decision to brick their hardware. Clients will not be fooled again.
Dolby Vision IQ and Roku Smart Picture both work very well as “auto” settings, I usually tweak everything but found I don’t need to for streaming content now, just over-the-air (OTA) signals. I bought a Roku Pro 55” to replace my TCL 6-series 55” QLED and it’s a great upgrade for the price. Does anyone know why Dolby Vision and other formats don’t seem to be in OTA signals? Thanks in Advance!
@@joncruz Hey, Jon. Josh and I don’t have personal experience with their devices yet. I’m a Sonos guy, and he’s been using Google-enabled speakers. I think we even mention that. What are your thoughts on these? Are we being overly optimistic? On paper, they look pretty impressive!
@@RichardGunther I have the WiiM Pro plus and it’s great for the price specifically for the great app it has, I’m currently waiting for the Ultra (July 31 from Amazon). I’m leaving behind my FiiO R7 they practically abandoned it with the audio Sync and Bluetooth issues and Android 10 but the worst is the remote app just terrible.
All they seem to be interested in is sending me emails to buy their ace headphones ( even though I recently unsubscribed from their marketing emails) I received one today giving me a small percentage off retail price so I suspect they are toiling. They will not get any more money from me. Cannot believe how arrogant this company is.
I am so, SO disappointed with SONOS and this update debacle. I have lost my trust in their product and my have no willingness to invest in it further. I will not recommend it again until enough time passes and it is shown to be fixed, and not in a spiraling downward trajectory. They have shown themselves to be completely out of touch with the UI/UX and have demonstrated a lack of understanding of what their devoted customers want and need from their product. Really bummed about this whole thing.
Hey! Great stuff! Jabra is leaving the TWS market hence the second generation rather than a new product. Your comments on the 75T and noise cancellation were amazing. The 75T originally didn’t have noise cancellation and then they did a system update and boom they had some noise cancellation. I agree it wasn’t the best, but I thought it was pretty cool they had that little built in feature that they could turn on with a single update. Again, great stuff and can’t wait to hear more of your content!

As for you can’t listen to music from Sonos. Where does it say that you can’t? Your Sonos Ace is connected via Bluetooth to your phone. You open the Sonos app on your phone and just play any content. Similar to the Roam and other BT enable devices on the Sonos App. If you are listening via your Sonos home speakers just switch sending the audio from your Sonos speakers to your bluetooth headphones. Just like you can do with the Roam as example . Isn’t that the case with the Ace?
The take away concerning the Sonos Ace is the following. First headphones to support Dolby Atmos spatial audio with head tracking on both iOS and Android. Sony, Bose and Apple doń’t support it yet. First headphones that give you a home theater experience with any device connected to a Sonos Soundbar.Other companies only provide spatial audio with headtracking on specific apps and devices. Sonos is the first to use a device as a hub to enable home theater across devices. And finally, of all the bluetooth codecs out there, Sonos picked the highest quality one “aptx Lossless” to future proof the headphones when connected to a Snapdragon audio device. And that includes not only smartphones but any device as long as you use a USB BT 5.4 dongle with Snapdragon audio. So in practice you can add Aptx lossless to your PC, tablet, or even non supported iPhone. It’s not a perfect solution, but there is no other better format. Apple locks their devices to BT AAC. So not much Sonos or anyone else can do.And finally unlike some other companies, they included cables that can charge and let you listen lossless audio on any device. So another workaround. Until now, wifi remains prohibitive for headphones. It just consumes too much battery. That’s why no one is doing it. Apple, Bose, Sony and others. all uses bluetooth, Those that allow lossless wireless streaming like PC headsets and headphones all require a USB dongle that basically creates a dedicated low energy network between the two devices. So they are still disconnected from the local network and can’t be taken out of home. So might as well go with bluetooth. So other than if ANC is good, if sound quality is good and other minor features, there isn’t much wrong with the Sonos Ace. Quite the contrary. It seems given technological limitations they are providing solutions others didn’t.
I bought two on Tuesday, everything was great when in WiFi but when you head to the beach you will find you can only play one speaker with bluetooth. How is it that a $99 JBL flip 6 can pair two speakers in stereo in bluetooth and not Sonos?? They could have been great, now they are Best Buy open box for someone else.
Even if all the previous features were there, the design is awful. On my 13” iPad most of the screen is just empty space! I had to buy a 3rd party app to make my system work again. And why do I need a cloud based control of my speakers to play local files that are on the NAS in my local network?
The reason they released the app in this state is to meet the targets set before the earnings report earlier this month. If they didn't release the app then funding would be pulled by the investors. The people that matter to a publicly traded company are the shareholders.
