When you display your cards at the craft shows, do you insert real money inside so people see what it looks like. If not, do you use play money and if so, what is your source for getting the play money? A lot of the plsy money I see like on Amazon looks like monopoly money, which doesn't look very realistic.
@cricutandcrafts One other thing the hardest part I find about doing these cards is getting the money to stay rolled up and getting it to stay inside the car without becoming unfolded or moving around. Any tips?
They can be! The ones I have linked are $4.50 for 10. If you get more than one set, the shipping doesn’t seem so bad. It’s around $4 to ship for the US. I’m not sure where you’re located.
I have not sold these before. Everything depends on your area if you’re selling locally. It’s hard to know for others.. for my area, I’d probably sell them for $10 with eggs IF I was able to get the eggs at a discounted rate buying in bulk online! You definitely can right now with Easter sales.
Hi, I think I’m confused on what you’re asking. Are you not wanting the backing? You don’t have to add that part to the canvas, you could just cut the stickers on plain sticker paper.
Im a beginner with a question? Im trying to make the candy domes. Do you need a certain blade like preforation one to make these? Thanks I really think theyre stinking cute 😂
Help! Mine are wobbly and the bills don’t keep them standing up straight. How can I fix this? I didn’t change anything and put the reinforcements on them. Help…
I know we chatted on Etsy as well. Making sure you glue them well helps a ton! And having the cash holding piece in a good spot to support the bills. I like using the Elmer’s purple glue stick.
Check their forum. They still suggest that you contact the author for prior authorization or to check the licensing pdf when you download the file (if the font includes one). As a font designer myself, I would mark mine as personal use only if I did not want anyone to be using it commercially.. that would be the norm anyway! Hope that helps
I am gathering supplies to make these and sell them. I have watched all your videos that have been very helpful. I just want to be sure that you are ok with us buying your designs and selling the finished product?
Yes, absolutely! That’s why I make them. I only sell physical products to test my designs to make sure they’re profitable & then I provide feedback and marketing tips to my customers through RU-vid and Facebook so they can hopefully be successful too!
Hi - I bought the design from design bundles and the little glass bottles from dollar tree keep breaking the card stock - what am I doing wrong? Is there a way to make the holders a smidge bigger ?
That looks so easy but I have extra steps on my Cricut. When I upload a file that has multi-colors, it asks if it is simple, moderate or moderately complex. No matter what I choose, it makes everything one color
You will get that popup if you’re not uploading a SVG. You must be using a png or jpg! It will only show as one color to cut if you are using a png or jpg file type
Hello! Very interested in selling these along with my freshies. Can you tell me what cricket machine and printer I would need to get started? You have a new subscriber 😊
Hi, are you interested in the money cards? We love using HP printers as they have a very affordable ink subscription and it’s the best deal on ink! You would need at least a joy xtra for print then cut. Your choice if you want to spend more for a larger machine. The original joy is the only one not set up for print then cut
If you haven’t started making, listing, or even selling Christmas items yet, you’re behind! I like to get the most out of Christmas sales each year. So it’s definitely Christmas season in my house and for my business 🌲
