Lovely video. The Fiat and chopper seem well matched. The 165 was very popular .However while they worked well I found the clutch very heavy compared to a Ford ,David Brown or Leyland. Also the position control worked in reverse. Fine if you onlt drove a Massey Not if you were on and off various brands
188 multi power first with the power steering I got the pleasure of working tarpoling White cabs plastic side windows doors were bockity wiper motor was crap but did I love that tractor and the 168..gave them 390's a run for their money and pulled them out of some mucky fields and trenches..yep ole skool Perkins unbustable..👌🚜❤️miss that 188 she was in perfect condition except for the bockity wiper and seat was prone too ripping.. tarpoling engine covers went too crap too ..but other than that she was perfect like the 168 as they were the farmers babies..135 ..and 240 were in great working order too but it was the 390's got all the punishment 😱😂still the massy's are classy and great work horses 🚜💞👌🚜👍🤟🚜💞
If I'd a choice of two tractors for sugerbeet..silage.. barley.. seasons it be fiat 890d.t and a Massy Ferguson 188 multipower.. without a doubt tow of my all time favourite tractors 👌🚜🤟🚜 cheers for the video great viewing 👍👍
Really impressed by the Fiat's beautiful tractors always wanted too drive one for a agriculture contractor down in Wexford had a load of them from the 880's too the 120/90's..I worked for a local farmer had massy's were impressive too ..135..240..168..188..and pair of 390's ..disc harrowed with the 188 multipower she was some tractor Remind me alot of this 165 with white tarpoling cab.. but the 188 had the waighed wheels..had a bullbar on the front could take a front loader..out of all the massy's the farmer owned the 188 was personally my favourite..but I would seriously loved to have worked a big fiat agri..👌🚜🚜👌👍👍🤟great video .. thanks for the memories. 👍👍🚜🚜👍🤟🤟👌👌
not a bother on her we do have a 17 by 8 foot trailer on our 165 pulls it wet or dry no bother and it does all the rapping. they were the best tractor ever made.
