Hey there! Join me on my "Crochet and Conversations" adventures.
A few years back, I rekindled my love of crochet and thought this would be a great way to create an opening to some cool conversations with all kinds of people. Every week, you'll come with me on a new Stitch Session journey as I mix it up with some crochet tutorials as well as some in depth conversations on life, crochet and everything in between. (So pretty much everything and anything;)
Here, guests are free to really get deep and express themselves, while enjoying the soothing craft of crochet. I'm excited to get crocheting and chatting with my guests. You just never know who will agree to sit down and stitch with me and I'm super glad you're tagging along for the adventure!
Hi. I hope you dont mind but i do have a question. How do we determine the shoulder part? 3 parts in back 3 parts in front. But the shoulder part am a bit lost. Kindly help me out. Thank you
OMGGGG! I love it. This just gave me an idea to do this but as a wrap for my long hair. Part my hair in the middle, put each half in one of the "sleeves" and wrap the sleeves around my head, and maybe add a button on one sleeve and a loop on the other sleeve to lock it in place once it's wrapped around my head. I just think I need to do the sleeves a bit narrower and long enough to wrap at least once!
I really like the video and the sweater design. The only thing I would like to change or improve is the center of the front. Is there a way to connect the 2 front panels so that the center seam is not as obvious? You are very good at describing the how to make the sweater fit to everyone's unique shape.
Hello my name is Mattie and since you ask for more different shades of yellow. show me fabric stores Has red heart super saver bright yellow and many other shades and tones of yellows😊
This is the best tutorial, thank you. I wanna ask,, this count is work for standart stitch like double crochet only or is it still work if i want to use another kind of stitch? Any other stitch that looks lacey for example. Because other stitch has their own foundation chain right? Please answer me..
The champagne color may be achieved by dying with tea or some other permanent stain - it was often done if something was stained so that it could still be used. Before you get rid of anything, maybe check with cousins, etc., especially with your grandmother's items. Have a great day. 🐞
you are absolutely right about checking with cousins but unfortunately, in my family, I am the only sentimental one of all my cousins. I'm hoping my niece will take an interest when she gets older. 🤞
Thank you for this sock pattern. Could you please tell me the number of cms for each part: diameter of the round before crocheting without increases, length of the part without increases before the heel and length of the heel for the size you are making in the video? It would be helpful to know that when we don't use the same yarn and crochet as you. Thank you!
Japanese people use one of the two sides of the raglan sleeves to fix their unique buttons😃instead of an extra central opening on the nape with extra calculations😕why don't we do the same😃it's logic🧠👍
Hi there, this tutorial helps you create this with your own measurements. You can also reference this adult sizing chart to help you out. www.crochetcrafty.com/pdf/Womens-Measurements-Sizing-Chart.pdf. Hope this helps!
Hi Karen! I came across your video while surfing for videos about making Raglan garments. I admire the patience with which you have explained this in such an articulated manner. May I suggest that you create a playlist of Quick Chat videos of yours. May I request you to share a video about the making of adult garments with a neckline and armhole shaping. Thank you once again for sharing your knowledge with us through this video 😊
Hi there! Thank you so much for your comment. I do indeed have a whole playlist on these Crochet Quick Chats. Fro quick reference, you can find it here for lots more info to dive into: ru-vid.com/group/PLWxo_4OZSIkkw3w0I7jTH7_WROTMP3OIC&si=AKzskrZk1I3Q4omb
😂! The name is hilarious. Maybe Granny was drunk while making the granny square stitches🤭. This stitch pattern is very beautiful❣️ I would like to make a scarf and a long sleeve top or cardigan. Thank you for teaching the method. Well done 💝.
Greetings, Interestly nice crochet stitch. Its good to see it demonstrated using the back loops only as well. I haven't thought of what I will create using the stitch pattern yet, it is good to see however. Thank you. Well done!
Thank you so much! I was trying to do this stitch with a super chunky yarn to make a rug for my room makeover, but it kept rippling no matter how many stitches I started with/increased by! I'll try the method of not adding any increases for a row, and see how it goes.
So did you all just make this square with a huge mistake in it?? Or did you all realise the mistake and just not say anything??? In Round 4 you go into the second corner without a chain 4.. then at no time do you go back and edit it or even say at the end that there's supposed to be a ch4 before each corner. I was on my second square right up to that corner, when I realised the error in the video and because I'd cut my yarn on the first square... there wasn't enough yarn to add in your missed 4ch... so annoying. :/
Hi Terri, there is a written graphic on the screen at 16:33 noting this mistake in Round 4. Sorry, you missed it but it's written along the top of the screen. Hope you were able to salvage your squares!
That is beautiful ❤❤❤I hope I am do it I am going to pay very good attention to what you are doing and I am going to give it ago. Many thanks, Daphne in Australia🦋🦋🦋🙏🏻💖💖🇦🇺
Hi Karen, can you make this motif into an evil eye, BUT with a 👉🏻 #filetstitch 👈🏻 around it. Instead of such a dense stitch around it. I think the filet stitch will allow the 👁 #crochetevileye 👁 to be more pronounced... Thank you for this #crochettutorial 👉🏻 🫶🏻 👈🏻
Hi! Yes, technically with all the chain spaces stitches in this one you will get a filet effect but you would want to use fingering weight yarn.👍 not sure how it would work out with a bulky yarn but you could give that a try;)
I just found your channel…I would say you are the best teacher I have ever followed on you tube. Thank you. A quick question. Is there a product you can put on the back of the Matt to prevent the Matt from sliding. I think there is something that is put on the bottom of crochet slippers. Thanks so much?
Thank you so much! See, actually, you can use shelf liners strips just like I used in this video for some non-slip slippers - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lUjufxnWxTE.htmlsi=ZbLAL2SwX0Nmk112. Hope this helps!
