I remember four or five years ago when I saw them opening for the Plain White T's in Denver. My first concert, the first bands I ever got to meet. Such fantastic memories.
I don't know exactly why but I've heard that Taylor wore a white dress to will's birthday party. The same white dress in the cover of her song Begin Again ( the song that's rumoured to be about will). And the timeline matches up too...so yeah, it's rumoured to be about her but we'll never know lol :)
While I was reading the Percy Jackson books, I became a fan of Parachute. So I had this album on repeat while I read them. My head now automatically associates Percy Jackson with any song from "The Way It Was". -.-
Would people quit talking about one direction. I'm not fond of them and this is a parachute song which relates to one direction in no way shape or form. I understand how my girl Swift got mixed up in it, but one direction? Seriously guys.
Well, that's because Taylor writes her songs cleverly so that the public can relate it to their own situation. She doesn't give specifics because firstly, that's not really our business, and second because Taylor likes to connect with her audience. If she added specific instances it might not be relatable. Also, she's not 'being dishonest' she just doesn't want to say every little detail. Just because she's Taylor Swift doesn't mean she doesn't want some privacy in her personal life...
I guess the "something the public could relate to" you're talking about is the scarf, right? But the song has a lot of moments that were not publicly shown when they were still dating.
I love this song!! I made a cover of it, an acoustic one, it's on my page. Certainly not as good as the original but it was fun and just showing my love for the band. I'd love it if you guys could check it out, thanks :-)
