I'm having a difficult time formulating a response. I am so touched by this. This is such a beautiful expression of Christian community; I love that you included so many heroes of the faith to show that we are one Body through space *and* time. I loved the animation of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, but also that it doesn't end there. The imagery of the dove of peace being sent into the world to be the hands and feet of Christ is so clear and powerful. It conveys such a sense of purpose that we have to bless others. Thanks you for this. You have blessed me with this piece, and this is definitely something I'll be sharing with others, particularly at Pentecost.
I know it's been years since you made it, but I had a question about the Galadriel mirror gown and found no way to contact you on your blog. I'm curious exactly how you used bra clips in the back of the gown and also how you attached the lace overlay to the underdress. Thank you so much. I would not have got my Dread Pirate Roberts shirt right if it was not for this video. Your video was well done and the extra text was most helpful. Note to others you need almost three times the fabric for the upper smocking and then taper five inches of fabric to the normal sleeve. You can then trim the taper on fitting before sewing the ends together.
