Hello We are a group of teenagers from the southern Denver Area that make up Team Data Force. Most members have completed 4 years of FLL (FIRST Lego League) and have competed in FIRST FTC for 3 years. We all love learning about Science and Technology, advanced engineering, 3D printing, making custom parts, and just hanging out. Please look at our other tabs above to learn more about our team. The 2016-2017 season has begun! It is going to be an exciting season.
How do you control your turret? Not talking from a programming perspective, talking about driving, what controls did you use? My team is using a turret this year and I'm trying to figure out what controls might be good.
I was seeing the beginning and when i saw the first shot of your robot i literally screamed WHAT THE F*** in front of my parents. BTW i am trying to start a team this season, and I am alone but ready to register. I have a base robot. Any tips on simple things to build with a tetrix base
good season guys it really would have been nice to compete with you at mti this year as we were the fastest delivery bot in the world, at being able to do 13 stones in 1 min
You guys built nothing short of a masterpiece. You set the bar higher for everyone else every time you competed. I was rooting for you to win worlds sad to see that day won't come. But you guys did a fantastic job.
This is easily one of the best robots in FIRST history. It's one of the most complex and amazing robots ever built for FTC. So sad no one will be able to see it win worlds but I'm sure everyone knew how south was gonna go down. Thank you for sharing your robot, good luck next season.
@@ritamr2690 Probably glutens tbh, Glutens actually takes slightly less time from what I can tell so, yeah. Both are good autos though and I don't think it makes a huge difference.
I probably should be asking a robot question but I can't help but notice the absolutely amazing filming on this! Which camera did you use to film this reveal? And which software did you edit everything with? Your impressive robot is almost as good as the reveal!!!
Who is the jerk that disliked this it is a ton of work to build even a mediocre robot, not to mention the amount of work it takes to plan out and build, program and tweak top notch robots like this. I know from my own experience on 12043 Power Surge. Keep up the good work data force.
I defentily thought you guys were the best team at worlds you guys were always consistent and I dont know how you guys didn't get into the finals. But hope to see you next year
I haven't looked close at Data Force's flywheel, but I've seen other designs. At the same super regional, there was a team that chained two motors together so the drop would be easier to fix, but others just use one motor. The important thing is in the code you must set your motors to run PID so it can fix itself.
