@@Desert.Sky.Adventures Sound travels about a mile every 5 seconds and that's probably dry air. That is sl close, your arm hair was probably standing on end.
How do you approach and kill a guy like Johnny Ringo, who learned how to survive amongst many adversaries, with a single bullet to the right temple? He shot himself…
If he’s asleep against the tree it would be rather easy. Why would he ride 50 miles, stop just short of his destination and kill himself? Makes no sense.
Hey Dave, when the weather gets a little cooler, you might want to consider a trek to Fort Bowie. It’s a mile and a half hike from the parking area to the actual outpost but very doable and pleasant. I saw my first Gila Monster on that walk. Fort Bowie was where Geronimo was held for a while after he surrendered to General Miles in Skeleton Canyon.
Just a dirt lot there now...like it never happened. Oceanside is gone too!! Losing any ice rink here, as a beat up old flat baller..is as heartbreaking! See for yourself.... maps.app.goo.gl/iqSy9R6mRjVrSfHK6
Heartbreaking. Learned to surf there before taking those skills to Redondo beach in the 80s. Just saw on Google maps the other day.. it's a dirt lot now. So sad!
@Desert.Sky.Adventures that's was a monsoon storm for the ages! I'm glad you braved the rain so we could could experience it. No rain in the valley of the sun. Thanks for bringing Tombstone to all of us. I've lived in Scottsdale for 5 years and don't care for it. I prefer smaller towns. I'm retired and there's nothing keeping me here so I might head your way soon.
No doubt bro Sunday the 28th of July 2024 we're in Arivaca AZ. We got slammed yesterday today is Monday It looks like you guys got the same stuff we were hammered and we're way west of y'all I'm going to take a guess 80 mi 100 miles not too far but on the other side of interstate 19 that goes to nogales 24 miles west out of a model Peace I'm about ready to invest in a row boat used to be dune buggies I think oh well thanks for covering this I'm going to go back to the video I just started it right on bud.
Very kool, but seeing that incredible amount of clean fresh water pouring off those roofs, I wish they had a system of rainwater harvesting or capture for later use. If not drinking, then landscape irrigation. And the make up of monsoonal thunderstorm rain is far superior to anything that falls in winter. For example the water is incredibly spfter and more losely bonded water molecules which allow for bettter infiltration. Unfortunately it all comes at once and runs off, but still amazing effects on plant vegetation. Thanks for showing. I follow numerous channels of people who rainwater harvest and all living directly around you. You should do a show on that subject and interview them. Brad Lancaster out of Tucson should be your first interview. 👍
Yeah, you caught a good one there Dave! Years ago we were heading up to Wilcox and were on E Kansas Settlement Rd. When we got hit with a storm cell that was so intense that the windshield wipers could not keep up with it. Had to pull off to the side and wait it out.
Dave monsoon finally hit you good I see. You are right I can’t imagine what 1880’s there. We had our good monsoon in Payson a week or so ago thunder crashing lightning good rain. -Kid
Howdy buddy 👋🏼 I guess RU-vids algorithms have decided im not worthy of catching your livestreams “Live” anymore 😂! I used to get notifications right on my homepage the day before, but this is the third one in a row that I’ve missed 😤….oh well, at least I’m seeing them after the fact 👍🏼 That was one helluva Supercell that hit you guys - washed all of the dirt away, and exposed the bare concrete on Allen St lol! Great video for sure! It def gave us viewers a real “you were there” feel! Cheers as always Dave 🥂
