Thanks for your video. I was really looking for a show with nv lustre. Unfortunately (not critisizing) this video doesnt provide indepth details. 1. You shoulda use lighter color like grey or white. 2. You should not use the pressure washer instead shoulda use the garden hose nozzle. 3. You shoulda shown how the water gets beatup on each product n hydrophobic condition. Could have been a better video.
Definitely gave clutch the short end of the stick. Gotta let that product flash for at least 20-30 minutes before leveling and let it rest overnight before getting wet and the water beading is insane
Yep. It's an awesome product but people are too impatient for it. I still have some but have fallen into the impatient category and just spray and rinse with Gyeon wet coat. Works great and both cars already have Gtechniq crystal serum ultra underneath and they get washed once a month. I feel like I'm in the "anything decent will get the job done" and wet coat is stupid easy to use and lets me get about cleaning the rest of the car that much quicker.
Very interesting but beware of the STEK Dynoflex for windshield because of dangerous distortions for driver as you can see on this video : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_qlfMw2xWe0.html
Its weird how you watch a video comparison of products on one channel, think youve made your mind up and then see the opposite results on another channel. Ive looked at a few videos that show great durability with Lustre (on Apex Detailing for example) then come here and it performs like crap . WTH?
Florida, particularly South Florida, can kill coatings faster than almost any place in the world. There is desert like direct sunshine, high humidity, 95f days, daily rainstorms, tannin filled sprinkler water, salty air, bugs, tree sap, bird crap, and a ton of road grime. I’ve never had a six month sealant last more than a month here in a daily driven car that’s parked outside. I used to detail my personal car with Macguires 7 and 26. Then I tried their ultimate liquid wax, which last longer, but didn’t look nearly as nice. Now Im going to try NV Lustre / Jet / Boost combo, but I give it a month or two tops.
@@SovereignSoul93 Lustre with Jet lasted about 2 months in our weather and conditions. That's actually quite good for our area. If I didn't park under two sap spewing trees, it probably would have lasted longer.
Thank you for the video, I’m currently using c2v3 but can I put bead maker on top of it? What I’m saying is can I use c2v3 with bead maker together? Will it damage the paint?
Hey nice video ! well done! i have Beadmaker now, and not impress by it's water repellent function. If i want to test out Carpro Reload, how can i effectively remove any trace of beadmaker ?
From experience and one that is overlooked is the prep work and the products used before application of the sealants. its a possibile that some of the sealants didnt hold up well with this test is because they didn't bond well on the surface, its hard to see the reaction on the naked eye how these chemicals react with each other.... If i may suggest, is to try using a home made IPA instead (this will give u a baseline and eliminates the variables of using same brand products hence gives them the edge or advantage as manufacturers make products that works with their own products or system, and if it works on other brands thats just a plus for the manufacturer and end user of these product, u can start with 30% isopropyl alcohol and 70 % distilled and adjust accordingly to have very good panel that is ready to absorb the sealant. your goal is to have the sealant bond and be compatible with the surface your trying to work on. I bet that after chemical testing most of the products that failed or weak can be revived by simply washing it with Si02 infused wash. hope this helps and give some clarity about the different products also I like your videos and hope u do more
Great video…cool to see my car featured! You and the crew are the best…appreciate all your efforts and excellent communication! Bloopers were hilarious 😂
I have used Gtechniq C2V3 for a long time. Just used bead maker for the first time and I am really impressed . It is definitely more work to apply as compared to C2V3 but produces great gloss and amazing slickness . Will give it a few try’s before I decide to switch from C2V3.
Nice video! Very cool! First one of your videos I've watched but I'll be checking them out. I just got a bottle of TEC582 and haven't even tried it yet but it looks like I did okay, LOL!
UNFORTUNATELY THIS TESTING VIDEO WAS DEFECTIVE BECAUSE YOU COMPARED APPLES TO ORANGES. YOU APPLIED DIFFERENT TYPES OF SEALANTS TO THIS HOOD, NUMBER ONE GTECHNIQ IS NOT AN SIO2 AS SOME OF THE OTHER PRODUCTS WERE AND ONE OF THE PRODUCTS CLAIMS TO BE A SOMEWHAT FULL CERAMIC, SO HOW DO YOU COMPARE APPLES TO ORANGES AND TRY TO GIVE AN HONEST OR EVEN PROPER TEST. AND REGARDLESS IF PEOPLE ARE JUST DO IT YOURSELFERS OR PROFESSIONAL DETAILERS THE PRODUCTS NEED TO BE APPLIED AS RECOMMENDED BY THE MANUFACTURER NOT RECOMMENDED BY YOU. A PROPER TEST WOULD BE TO COMPLETELY CLAY BAR THE HOOD THEN PAINT CORRECT IT AND THEN WASH IT AND THEN DO AN IPA PANEL WIPE AND THEN TEST THE PRODUCTS APPLES TO APPLES AND THEN ORANGES TO ORANGES. BUT NICE TRY GUY
I stopped looking for new sealants after using the Meguiar's hybrid ceramic wax and their Ceramic Detailer as a topper. I'm getting many months of effectiveness and it does everything I want it to do for extremely cheap.
