I’d imagine that, if they keep the solo queue, they’ll also add a team queue. Problem solved. Maybe even multiple team queues. For instance, one queue would only allow 2-3 player stacks & the other would only allow a full 6 stack. So, there’s no scenario where there’s a single person on one team that isn’t in a stack. It’s either 2 stacks of 3 or 3 stacks of 2. Like, I’m pretty sure that, in Valorant, you can only queue as 2, 3 or 5. I’m not even sure if a 4 stack & a 2 stack would be a good option. I’d say no? But, it’s probably good to allow people the option to queue as 4 as well.
I think this is better than Dota 2 ranked, however, it's still far from a good one. The problem with algorithms and letting them analysis 'player data' and determine player's skill, is that you eliminate unique playstyles. You either play the established meta based on some mundane player data, or you lose rank. Still, better than Dota 2, but it has major issues.

I think the biggest thing for me is how good comms are. I think a huge reason is because theres zero stacking, comms between only a few people on the team in discord has always been frustrating in Dota.
I'm very excited for the new ranked system in deadlock. Especially the part where it updates once a week based on opponent's performance in other games. I think the deadlock ranked system fixes a lot of problems I have with dota rank system, I hope it works well
