Why are you all so down on ricky? I adore Karl, but the juxtaposition between these three is magic! It wouldn’t work any other way! Shame it didn’t go on longer….
Despite Ricky's criticisms of Karl for saying all of this, he then proceeded to spout Karl's opinions as his own during a later stand-up special. Apparently it's "stupid" when Karl says something but it turns to gold when it comes out of Gervais's mouth.
Ricky sees it as a purely good act. So any questioning of it he frowns upon. I know many people like this, some just don't get that you need to question an idea before implementing it. Karl's argument also has flaws but at least he's not a condescending prick about it.
@@garryjones62 It just irks me because Ricky thinks he's the "smart" one, but Karl at the very least understands that a goat is infact another mouth to feed.
@@nicholasschrader7179 I doubt the families eat grass like the goat would but idea's need to be challenged. Ricky annoyed me because, anyone who disagrees or even challenges his views are "an idiot"
And most of the people they sell them too sell the milk, making their money back pretty quickly, and then they breed them every year or two and sell any male goats. And keep, breed, and milk the females.
The point of the gift was for the family to have more food in the long run, but karls point was they cannot keep it even shortterm, they would eat it or sell it. Sad the guys didnt even try to think a little with him and straight up thrashed him
In watching this series I realized that Ricky Gervais is not that funny! Karl is the mastermind behind a lot of the material he uses in his stand-up lol the three of them together though is gold!
It's hilarious and ironic thay Ricky Gervais when he was in ahow business used a lot of Karls thoughts and views in his stand-up! Makes you wonder who's the real comedic genius! Lol but love all three of these gents!
Before we label Ricky a thief we should also realize that Karl has had quite the career and without Ricky it wouldn't have happened. Karl's done fine for himself.
It's not stolen; do get over it. I bet I can recreate the conversation. RICKY: "Karl, mate, remember the thing about the goat at Christmas?" KARL: "What, you mean the old podcast bit we did, yeah." RICKY: "I'm dying to use that in my stand up. Do you mind?" KARL: "Go right ahead."
