I'm kinda into dirt bikes. Check out the links below if you want to support the DBC project by grabbing gear from my website or using my affiliate link to Rocky Mountain ATV/MC when buying anything they sell!
The cost of the bike isn’t the problem. It’s the devaluation of your currency. Compare the price of Gold and buying power vrs your Fiat currency. You will find the dollar is worth 1/2 of what of what it was when top bikes were $6K New 300’s are king and 4strokes will allay make out with there bros behind the van FACT
I love my lectron on my 300ktm xcw but its my first one ive ever delt with but let me tell ya coming from old school carbs this is amazing if they get any easier lol its takin the fun outa dirt bikes for me its like hot rods or any thing else u expect to work on it a little bit thats part of the fun
Honestly this is one of the most informative videos ive ever seen on any dirt bike video ever. Clear , straight forward and easy to listen to and learn on what he is talking about!!!!! Thank you
Multiple times you say the add ons look super cool, that alone is reason to pay the extra. The wheels alone are worth the spend as it’s a practical upgrade. You go the lower cost option and you still end up upgrading graphics and parts, it’s what riders do and end up paying more. Map switch makes a big difference, soft map is awesome on crawl and hill climbs, the hard map is awesome on open trails where speed kicks in and test their is a power band. A nociable difference between the maps, kind of like going from TPI to old Carb engine response and it’s instant at a push of the button. You can move your controls in, I have no issue doing it on my bike, unless you running your clutch and brake at 45degrees, it’s no issue at all. The seat is awesome, best I’ve had, and works real well in wet, very grippy vs stock. You did not mention the hard endure has solid rear disc brake and floating front. The rims are also specked for higher impact, stronger and lighter. The frame is orange vs black on the std. 1600.00 is not much at all. 👌
ktm 350xcf worst bike ever for technical riding. Xcfw is a different story but neither light weights. Sherco 300 sef my favorite at the time. Beta 390 gosh how much does that weigh ? Sounds like one of my first bikes ktm 400. A heavy tractor that could go up anything but handled badly so ktm nixed it. Still enjoyed your opinions. Beleive I might try electric next.
I am doing my first one and nobody says how super hard it is to put the wheel inside the tire mission impossible been on it for an hour and can’t do it … One of those how experienced people make it look super easy but it is super super hard !!! I am regretting buying it as this is painful 😰
THIS GARBAGE BIKE GUYS STAY SHERCO # 1 RECOMEND SHERCO GUYS NOT GUYS GIVE FREE HATS LOL ITS YOU MONEY NOT HEM PAY YOUR BIKE STOP SPEDING EXTRA ON GARBAGE WHO PAYS FOR BIKE IF TELL YOU STICK HEAT ON TOILET WITH YOU LOL
Kyle, your ratchet straps are amazing. And I will miss the backpacks as they also were amazing. In regards to a first bike, I think it's important to emphasize that people with absolutely zero experience on any motorized two wheels should consider the trail bikes. I have one, and every time somebody rides it it convinces them to get a dirt bike. If they had experience as a kid, I would definitely recommend a faster bike to start with, but I think they're great for people who don't have that experience. I've outgrown the power and suspension on mine within a year, but it made me love the sport.
Carrying tools or anything hard and maybe pointy in a vest? 1 crash of the wrong sort those tools can and have broken bones. I had one chest/back/shoulder protector, and it had square shaped attachment points , dumb idea. I flipped off a log and crack went 2 ribs next to that square piece of plastic. Tools and things next to your body, is asking to hurt yourself.......................Some wolfman side bags put everything at the back and outta the way.
OMG you are the safety officer. Ok guys, you can't have a beer and no sharp objects. Dude, side bags would last about 2 minutes where I ride. Get ripped right off or drag you down with em. You must ride the 4 wheeler trails.
I have a AddABike rack and it's uses no tie downs at all just one arm over the seat and you go. Easy to get it on and off the rack unlike putting it in the back of the truck.
