@@TheOnlyRemyD the usual suspects when a turret won't do its job is something with claims blocking the fake player from acting. If you're in claimed/protected chunks, check that fake players are allowed to act
@@Zieg777 I figured it out after posting my question. For my setup it required that I use Projectile-> Place Block -> Toss Not sure why but nothing else seemed to work for me. Now it works perfectly. Thank you so much for responding
Hey Zieg i really enjoyed this series. i hope you continue with modded minecraft. I came back to this specific video because i'm trying to make the spell to randomize block exchange but apparently i don't have "ray" and "exchange". i'm on valhelsia6. are them from an additional ars mod?
added 2x more aoe for bigger area. and i'm having a lot of fun swapping terrain. it is cool that randomize only the same kind of blocks touched by the projectile and not everything. i had some crafting stations and other block on the way where i was doing it :) thank you for your inspiring videos
Ah, You're in minecraft 1.16 then. Instead of the scribe table, you use the glyph press to create glyphs. Check the entry in your book for more information on it; but it's a completely different system after 1.18.

True, I could just use a sensor. The shrieker is here so it's only players that can trigger it. Shriekers will ignore other mobs like wandering traders or phantoms, while sensors will trigger on anything
Specifically I start at what letters I can type with my left hand on WASD. Otherwise i have to move my mouse hand over and find the home row before I can type
Also, I'm pretty sure that having a spinning shaft go to both of the elevators is what is causing that visual glitch. If you replace the shaft going to the second one with some other blocks, I think it will work as you wanted
I've just realized your base's land has a similar shape to mine. A piece of land in the middle of "lake" of sorts surrounded by mountains. Yours is bigger though 🤣
Islands are so great, you can just light up a small area and never need to worry about mobs. I do wish this one was a bit bigger though. It's hard to squeeze everything in a small island
It's always "from A to B". So for a squirrel to take items, you want to go from the chest to the squirrel. Shift right click the chest first, then regular right click the starbuncle
but all the damn methods shown USE source to get source.. if you don't have any how the heck do you get them... I've mined for hours and found 1 source gem...
If you're on a version that has source gems as an ore (1.16) then I highly suggest spending your first few gems on a crystalizer. They don't need source to make gems. Just stick a hopper under it and it'll produce one every 15 minutes without providing source. 1.18+, gems are no longer found as ore, but are produced in the imbuement chamber instead. As for generating source, once you get 2 gems to make a source link, volcanic is very straightforward since it can burn any standard furnace fuel such as coal or charcoal
I wish mods had better in game documentation like Thaumcraft. There is basically no way to find out these things without consulting the online wiki and installing the ugly (and spoiling) NEI/JEI or whatever the latest one is called.

1.19 and 1.20 new worlds, they no longer spawn in regular hostile mob conditions, and instead spawn in dens which are honestly pretty hard to find. Big mound structures on the surface. Instead, id go with the summon wilden ritual. You'll get at least one of each. There is a recipe for it with vanilla items, not just the one that uses wilden parts
Any chance this could be made into a mod that modifies ars nouveau's glyphs to be configurable? or have it be configurable in the first place (so mods like configured can help with this) i've been wanting more glyph slots as i level up my book, or just for fun and the heck of it, but never was able to.. i've had some sick ideas but never been able to execute any of them

Thank you for doing actual tutorials instead of these garbage playthroughs that you'd have to watch 2 hours of it hoping they say something about the mod you're looking for.
The discord server pack on curseforge was used in 1.18. at the moment we're using a custom pack that honestly updates daily. We use "server pack locator" so we only need to update the server, and clients auto update on launch to match
@@TheAyrrow it's not so much that the server is "behind a paywall". It's a private server that we mostly use for testing "bleeding edge code". Things break often. This isn't a patreon server, it's a test server where there is an assumption that any code change may result in a roll back or a new world.
I'm kind of surprised there isn't some form of free cam/spectator mode 'astral projection' style ritual. Then again, I have no idea how difficult that would be to actually implement, so I might just be missing something obvious.
