At this stage, the physics situation in Star Citizen is so bad it’s impacting everything right down to simply placing items in a ship off cargo grid like a plant pot on a table. It needs a total overhaul, they go on about immersion but a ship jerking around magically is the most immersion breaking thing out there arguably.
Most of the opinions I've seen from Mike are logical and based. There isn't really a game to play at the moment, so like a lot of us he's testing the tech demo until at some point they turn it into a game that isn't just increase your UEC, buy ship Increase your UEC. What a clown!
So Mike is pretty grounded. I find that he represents the side that still believes in the project but is realistic when it comes to the current state. There are a lot of different color knights… Mike is the louder realist
@@MrJohnni9999 most of it, is just objective frustration. Anyone ignoring the fact that these developers can't fix some basic stuff after years don't really care about the game. As far as I am concerned it's time we should be even more angry.
@@ClipofTheDayy But it´s not a game yet, but people treat it like that. We are supposed to test and report. I am just playing myself and not so much reporting, so therefore I don´t complain. Cause I have no right to do so.... Im glad they take their time to do things properly, and 10+ years of development is something we a gonna get used too.... The old days where you bought a finnished game and later an expansion, is way gone. Now you buy a base game, and if you want the rest, just put in more money. The world has gone over the top in greed!
@@MrJohnni9999 I believe that most criticism is justified. It does not take years to fix some basic stuff. (we are talking about the basics, not the core complexity and uniqueness of the game) This either means there is something fundamentally wrong with their engine or they have hired stupid people. And I wouldn't believe anything CIG says for they have been lying many times. I don't believe this position of: " it's a difficult project" or "they just need more money and time" is justified when the results are so little. As far as I am concerned Chris Roberts needs to be fired and they need to get some reforms going.
Well one advantage, Thanks to CIG we will never run out of content for this channel. I mean they have never been able to get the game physics right for people and vehicles on elevators. So lets make all ships and vehicles spawn on an elevator. (what could go wrong) And that is just one example of this awesome pit of despair.
