@@photogenickdrony2457 Cannan NY currently....I worked at Michaels Restaurant for a few years in early 2000s and my aunt lives in Stockbridge as well it's a beautiful town. I started with camera drones then went to FPV but im hoping this mini2 gets me more into Arial cinematography / photography. I've been studying for part 107 I'm very interested in learning to do photogrammetric mapping or orthomosaic mapping or whatever it's called with drone deploy someday. I've been in FPV just under a year it's the most frustrating hobby and it's equally as expensive and time consuming. I honestly think this year I am putting the time I do get into the more professional side of the drone world. I plan on hiking to all the peaks I've hiked growing up in the Berkshires and doing the sphere panoramas like monument mtn, Ice Glenn, greylock,etc... Even moreso I can't wait to hike up to Laura's tower over there above the Glenn and get some long range flights in from atop the tower maybe. I just searched today to see if anyone is doing anything like I was thinking and I found your video. I subscribed hope to see more good shit👍

very interesting & it looks like water is still flowing into and out of the Hazen papermill (at the end of the video). I never knew that one of the old factories in Housatonic was missing its roof
In the late 80’s I did electric work there and there was still water flowing through the causeway under the mill. I remember having a lagger extended across the 12’ gap and standing on it drilling holes in the concrete with a Hilti to fasten conduit. The building with no roof has some pretty big trees in it, looks to have been roofless for a while.
I love this video. I grew up here and its wonderful to be able to watch these stunning views of my old hometown and think back on all the memories of my childhood. Thank you for making this, its very special.
It’s tough to follow the river for very far because of all the trees so close to it they disrupt the signal to the controller. Maybe I will try to make an edited video of the river with different clips from different locations though. Thanks for watching and check out my other videos.
