I got the ESX Horizon 100.4 last week. Its replaced my old Sony Xplod 1200w. I do prefer it because for my use, 1200w is just un-needed. Its also a hell of a lot smaller so it fits in the enclosure I built well.
Hi, thanks for your reviews. The brazilian market for SQ speakers is rather limited. I can only use 6.5 coax speakers in my car, so my options are: Audison VOCE AV X6.5 *or* Morel Tempo Ultra 602 Integra Mkii *or* Focal Elite K2 Power Ec 165k (this is way more expensive than the others) *or* HERTZ speakers (MPX and SX). Which one would you choose from this list? Thanks again.
@@frednsound Thanks for the suggestion, I was leaning towards the Morel's too. I previously owned JBL GTO series triaxial speakers (6.5" 638 and 6x9 938) powered by a JBL GTO 804EZ amp in my last car, the sound quality was really good. It was a hatchback, so the 6X9 in the trunk cover gave good lows. Now I have a sedan, with no place for 6x9 speakers, so the 6.5" will have to do. Maybe soundproofing the doors will help.

Hi mate Daniel:) This DSP sounds very good. Great performance and well designed. STEG Ssdsp12 has some more features as 12ch amplifier with 12ch outs, compared to 8ch amplifier with 4ch outs. Also ssdsp has USB OTG audio. Thanks for watching 🎼
Hi Fred I have gone for a three way active setup with XU6.2i and midrange XXM325 . My installer has set the below frequency 20-80 hz to kicker subwoofer 80-500 hz to Mid bass of XU6.2i 500-3000 hz to XXM325 3000 - 20k hz to tweeter of XU6.2i Suggest should I increase the midrange frequency from 380-3000 and drop mid bass to 80-380 ? Second thing is I have set the tweeter frequency from 3k-20k , but I could see cross frequency is given as 4500 hz in spec , should I change any ? Appreciate your reply
Hello Fred, Do you think this amp will be a great addition to run SG650C or running msdsp12 will be good enough. Would it bring out more details? Trying to decide if running more power will increase the sound quality out of them. Looking in between the k4.01, m.msk130.4 and the qk200.4.
Hi Erik, it’s not only about more power, each amp has its own sound signature/details. knowing how to combine what with what, makes the final stage different. You mentioned mdsp12, it’s better getting the ssdsp12 with better dacs (dual dacs) and usb otg. I would add k2.02 for midbass, mmsk130.4 for tweeters and mids. The rest of the channels use for rear fill, center. And sub with additional mono amp. Thanks for watching

K series amps have excellent dampening factor and warm tonality, the m.msk hybrid between details and warm tone, and the qk dedicated to details.

Hey Fred & Sound. I buyed and installed it looks gread and the most things are working great BUT ive got 2 Question first: where i can download any Firmware Updates? i didnt find anything in google. Second: What advantages does connecting via AUX Cable? I Use Android Auto but when i drive Backwards the Musik is muted instead of just quieter I hope you can help me with that. Thx alot!
