A celebration of great live music from the past to the present with roots in the archives of KSHE classics in St. Louis, MO USA. Because You're Never Too Old To Rock N Roll!!!
There's those ****s Steve Housden and Wayne Nelson who legally stole the LRB name and now bully the original members and make money off their songs that they have no right to use for their cover band who pretend to be LRB. What a couple of a-holes.
1983 15 years old saw Fogaht and Cheap Trick on same bill - I learned what real live rock bands were all about that day . Lonesome Dave was a complete and total ROCK STAR !!!!
A version of LRB…. Glenn, Derrick and Stephen, and as a side note, long time member, Wayne. Great show! Miss Beeb and Graham tho! Beckett was a great addition!
Awesome I just watched this whole concert again it took me back in time like I was in a time Machine Loved every minute of it I saw Triumph 4 times in Toronto there so great love you guys, and all the Triumph fans out there.I saw Triumph in 1985- 87-88 90 then saw Rik Emmett by himself still put on a great show my heart will always be in the 80s where I grew up in Toronto saw many bands and at all he popular Rock bars like the Gas Works,Rock n Roll Heaven,Larrys Hideaway Nags Head North so many Rock joint and great times Im still rockin all the best everyone be strong and safe 🎸🎤🎶🤟
Saw this lineup in 92 at Peabody Auditorium Daytona Beach Florida during Bike Week. Medicine Man and After the Rain albums played at my house weekly ever since. 2024.
The Guitarist is Ray Monette, the second guitarist for Rare Earth. He is the saving grace of the band when Pete Rivera left. The guy can rock. Jerry Lacroix as a vocalist, is good, as evidenced with Edgar Winters White Trash. But he's not a replacement for Pete. Just my 2 cents. Rare Earth jumped the shark when Pete left. And even when he did come back, the albums were not under their control, they suffered terribly from too much pop infused soft funk. However, find the LP Band Together and play the track Mota Molata...it still had the Rare Earth rock fire...Ray Monette kills it on this track.
The Tubes gave you it all : parody, satire, criticism of the "me generation" , diverse personas by Fee Waybill, diverse music and great rock music ! Nobody comes close to the Tubes . Bowie's Glass Spider show may have been grander but not even close to the Tubes' diversity and versatility .
IN MY OPINION FOGHAT HAS BEEN OVERLOOKED AND UNDERAPPRECIATED AS ONE OF MY BEST OF THE BEST ROCK BAND TO EVER GRACE THE STAGE!!! THEY KNOW HOW TO GET YOU ON YOUR FEET AND SING DANCE AND FOREVER WILL I PAY TRIBUTE TO THEM AS ROCK GODS. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES!!😻😽👍😍😘🌹💐🎉😊🙏🥳🤯💞❤️🤩🥰😇🥳💋😎
Well said man. The big guns always seem to forget about the big guns in foghat and you never hear other guitar players mentioning the great Rod Price who I consider to be one of the greatest most underrated guitar players of all time. RIP to Dave,Rod and Craig. Foghat forever.
great stuff. 2 more 1970. utube - Santana's. 2 nd band with the ' Woodstock 'percussion that is my fave. about 80 min. tanglewood ( Boston ) also 1970 tanglewood - the song ' White Bird'. just a classic period piece , great tambourine & love the classic guitar work, easy or not. and the only dance steps in the whole show are Duanes....
I’ve seen this before but it disappeared for a while . I’m glad I can rewatch it because there obviously isn’t that much video of the original band. It’s not of very good quality but you take what you can get. At least the sound is decent.

Alvin said he liked the strat, but his pinky would hit the volume knob and turn it down. Luckily he was a tinkerer, and he installed a strat pick up on his Gibson, so he would have the best of both worlds.
The good old days of Rock and Roll, one of the best bands ever ❤added to those bands are Cinderella, Mr Big, Poison, so many great bands so underrated.
