Thanks for the video. Very helpful. Have you found any way to change scene's without stopping the rhythm?

Mike, this was awesome. Thank you for doing this. Please do more. I was fascinated and learned so much! I'm fairly skilled with Ableton, but I had no idea how to incorporate the Juno-X - learned so many workflow tips between both! I hope this is the beginning of many more!!! Great style as well.

I try to make the arp stay only on the left side to play it only with left hand, but its everywhere...I go to edit part 1 go and i see range to C . But the part 1 has S NOT K. i don't know how to make it K . Maybe that3why it doesn't work. Manual is no good. Also no good tutorials on RU-vid

Can you please provide me advise on the following: How do I setup the arpeggios on a Juno-X, so that they play independent from each other other multiple keyboard splits? I tried to setup keyboard ranges for each parts, but no matter what I do the arp's do not play independent. Play an arp on one split and it affects the arps on other split. It looks like the arps cannot be separated and are triggered by the entire keyboard, despite the key ranges. Thank you in advance

good video, but it puts me off more than it triggers me. So much menu diving on a tiny screen for...almost nothing. It is not powerful enough and poorly implemented. Arpeggio seems better on my Novation Summit (also poorly placed screen). Not a single synth out there has perfect design, except maybe Sequential

Thank you. I discovered audio beat sync on Yamaha synths. I'm not sure if other synths have this. Do you know if the arpeggios sync up with external rhythm.

I want to say THANK YOU too for making this video! Finding a video on how to set up the internal TR drum machines took a lot more RU-vid searching than I had expected. So, can I ask this question: Where did you find the instructions on how to do this? Obviously, the manual that comes with the Juno X does not cover any of this. Did you just figure this out by playing around with it, or can you provide the link to these instructions? (Granted, I have not really searched the Roland website for this info... I should have probably done that first.)

Are the effects coming from the Juno-X or are they software/VST effects in Ableton? Or external hardware effects?

Thanks for sharing Mike. I will be doing something similar. I plan on using mine with Bitwig studio and also Cubase. The the Cubase chord track and variations running the arpeggiator will create so many possibilities.

I found a solution in the scene edit menu on the second page. “Velo sens” does the trick. Duh… 🤦 but now I’m trying to see if I can map it to the SL1 control slider. So far no luck there. The only way I could see it working is if there’s some way to do it through CCs. Time to keep digging!

Wanna gonna say, also try the Juno editor on your computer, that exposes all the settings quite nicely. I noticed that arp doesn’t work over midi, hoping @Roland fixed it in upcoming updates.. Glad you found a solution for mapping velocity, thanks for sharing!

First, love this video and subbed ❤️ The haters can hate but i think juno-x and the zenology tech sounds great. There are not enough videos like this, noodling on a sound. It is a better demo of what i would be doing in the studio. Sculpting and searching for that lightning in a bottle.
