In this video, Ryu Seung Min contacts the ball at around one arm's length from his body, to allow a full arm's swing on his forehand side. That is why there is so much power and speed in his forehand shots.

Lovely. The production is unnecessary. As is stated in the Rules of Presentation by Maskelyn and Devant, don’t mix effects. A transposition is fine by itself. It doesn’t need a production as an anticlimax.
Wang Hao is too conservative in both his playing style and personality, this to some extent can explain why he is 3 times Olympics silver medalist but every time just one step away from a champion. He lacks the ambition and variability under high pressure. No doubt he has the best RPB skills, but still RPB will never be as consistent as shakehand even it's for Wang Hao, and you can see in this match when behind he tends to rely more on RPB. Although forehand is never a strong point for Wang Hao, but when playing with player like Ryu who has very strong and spinny forehand attach, RPB won't be reliable. And Ryu has better server than Wang Hao and he played very smart in this game to return the ball in big angles trying to move Wang Hao around and forced him to make fault
*Rio 2016 I'm going crazy with this fast game of oriental table tennis 2004, our best Brazilian tennis player would have no chance.* 5:20 🇰🇷CORÉIA DO SUL 👉🏿🥇
@@km-lr7wj The meeting was right after the 2004 Olympics. At that time, I met weightlifter Jang Mi-ran and Ryu Seung-min at Incheon International Airport and Chinese runner Liu Xiang at Beijing International Airport. China's Liu Xiang was the 2004 gold medalist in the hurdles.
@@acerola9430 wow that must've been a surreal moment to see so many great athletes at once. I wasn't aware you saw them all haha, I thought it was only ryu seung min. Did you get to interact with them all/were they friendly?
Ryu shattered the great wall of china in TT that day. He was highest og his energy that day. Do or Die.!!!! That celebration at the end from non Chinese is a rare thing in TT world.
