always go higher size because you can crop the jacket with strings on the bottom inside of the jacket! very underused feature that is game changing. will make a larger size look super nice on you and even puffier than smaller size which is the goal of the jacket right to have the nice high quality bulgy fit.
As a first time Fold buyer, I’d love to see more reviews that just focus on the device in front of you. How many actual Fold 5 buyers are going to upgrade 2,000 phones every year? Yes I know about trade in deals, but I’d argue that those deals wouldn’t be NEARLY as good with the kinds of yearly upgrades you guys are asking for.
Its crazy that you are blaming the companies and not the consumers that are irresponsible with there money, the fact that you are comparing phones that are one year apart is the problem the real comparison should be between the Z6 and the Z3 maybe the Z4..... then you would see a a better reason to upgrade if your(consumers) financial situation is right.
I think upgrading from a Fold 4, yes. From a 5 probably not but I still ordered mine because YOLO. Also the weight is close to my s24 ultra, and it does feel noticeably lighter than the fold 5, much lighter than the 4
Also there is color saturation difference between fold 5 and 6,in Deadpool comparison video the red suit is proper red in fold 5,in fold 6 its less red 3:06
I agree at the beginning, 1mm here, milli second there improvement, and Also, at the End, Apple is the Profit&Money Hunter ,and now Samsung follow the same way, No innovation anymore, no need for any risk no more.😢
Consumers must do more to place the demand for worthwhile changes, especially for the prices they are charging. And not support them when it’s phoned (pun intended) in. It’s really too bad ):
@@Joshua88Grahamgood. That is capitalism too. You DONT have to buy it-esp every year. We have reached a point now where there is only SO MUCH that can be upgraded each year on phones, hence, the focus on AI.
I tried both these phones and Samsung fold 5 Is light years better than the pixel fold. The first pixel fold was the worse foldable of them all. Unfolded you have those big black ugly bezels and the phone is heavy as 💩
Not a fan of folding bills requirement on wallets. Way too cumbersome during fast transactions. Seeing i mostly gone all digital (still have bills and cards for places that don't accept mobile pay). Best wallet in terms of functionality for me is the slimfold micro
Used a Fold 3 for a month and hated it for the narrow front screen. Went from S23 Ultra to Oneplus Open, loved it except for 2 things. Perhaps picky for most but for me deal breakers. Too many software hiccups and the lack of cases. Yes cases! I don't carry a wallet and haven't for years. So I NEED a case that carrys 3 cards. The one case I could find for the OnePlus Open was trash. The issue is the camara bump is way too big to design a proper case for cards. So it is now in a drawer and im using my old Pixel 6 Pro waiting for the next foldable. Honsetly been good, I have always been partial to how Google camaras make photos pop. The Fold 6 just released. Is the front screen the same narrowness of the Fold 5? Will Google fix the crease, the flatness and glare of their screens? Samsung has great pre order deals now. Jump into the Fold 6? Wait for the Pixel Fold 2? Help!
@@akumaz78how are you liking the key holder? I actually just stumbled onto the company and picked up a X and money clip (which is in transit and yet to be delivered). I didn’t want to throw down the extra 50 bucks on the key holder in case it was horrible. I haven’t found any video reviews on the key holder.
@@stoehr Well after 1 week of using it sometimes when you in a rush it will cause a slight buzz kill. After I slide out the key to open the door I have to hold the slider firmly to push in the key in to the door handle otherwise it will slide back it 🫠 into the key holder. I wish the key mechanism can just slide out like a pocket blade and it will lock into position so I can easily push it into the door handle 🤔🤔
hey buddy, awesome video as always! i've been leaning toward the Secrid Twin for card capacity and your vids have been super helpful. you were swaying me toward Double Oak with this vid and it was interesting to see that the DO and ST are pretty much the same size. my hold off has been the thickness - i carry in my front pant pocket. curious, given these are the same size but the ST has double the card capacity, the layout and features of the DO outweigh capacity for you? cheers!
I appreciate the kind words my friend ! To be honest, I never truly maximized the space for the double card holder on the ST. It's always great to have more room if you need it, but the extra slots in the DO and even the Secrid Mini, have always allowed me the capacity I needed card wise. So I give the slight edge to the DO vs the ST only because it also has two other areas on the wallet for cards you can easily fit another 6 cards outside the aluminum housing in.
@@Joshua88Graham very good point about maximizing...that had crossed my mind as well. after watching your vids a few times i ended up ordering the new DO in Iceburg and Midnight (they were having a 50% off sale)! i'm just hoping it doesn't feel too big in my front pocket. can i ask where you wear yours? thanks again for your response :)
hey there im about 5'5"-5'6" and about 115 pounds, I have a normal nuptse in size small that fits ok, maybe a little bit long in the sleeve but otherwise nice, would you recommend going to a XS for the high pile one because it seems a bit larger/longer? thank you for your time!
Ekster is a 2 year warranty, had to warranty 2 times already and now a third issue has occurred and now it’s time to change smh even though I’m still in warranty
The only thing I wish Satechi had done contrary to their design is that cuts down on air flow through the Mac Mini. The second thing like other creative mac dock makers, Satechi should have made their dock to not only hold the SSD card even though it goes against NvMe standard, they should have also put in a SATA HDD/SDD port area to add flexibility to the overall storage solution, like the Qwiizlab Dual Drive Enclosure with Docking Station for Mac Mini which has its ventilation flaws to be fair. Satechi is a good brand and I’ve purchased quite a few things for them so the brand itself is great. Just needed a bit more design and engineering consideration. I’d be interested to hear though if this hub has the same issue as some have had where the SSD ejects and has to be re-mounted during normal ops. That would be a real tail kicker problem for anyone. Thanks for the review. Still considering. They also need a space gray shell.
When will you do a magsafe review of this wallet compared to others like the ridge magsafe and the fantom magsafe? I want to buy a new wallet add on to my phone soon.
There are some premium models with emboss patterns on them that look interesting but you're not getting much else in fact. Unless you're wallet isn't destroyed after ten years of use, there is no incentive aside from the style points to get a premium.
Thought the Lite model would be a good solution to throw in your backpack and use it before flights to place a couple of lenses (Canon 24-70 2.8 etc.) to take off some weight as a fanny pack usually isn't considered a personal item. Yet, not sure if the Lite can carry 2-3kg. Especially with this magnetic buckle which probably needs gluing (there's no real use to hood/unhook it so fast). Would you say the Lite model could withstand storing such weight?
This literally would be perfect if it had a space pen on the side. I think it would be easy to add that. I swear if you added that ,itd be the best in the market. Alot of us dudes use this for work and need a pen on us daily ..this would fix that. your welcome.
