Funny how the "best in the world" wins a meaningless title when he could've went to WWE and won a title that meant something.....osprey is trash....sorry not sorry
Mikey Whipwreck is a ECW legend, you got me messed up if you think that he's a joke, if I remember he beat Steve Austin and sand man for the ECW world Heavyweight Champion & he never pay a match to Steve Austin🫵🏿
Man BZ, it's been a trip watching you go over all this just to pay tribute to R Truth's Childhood Hero. You've only gotten snarkier and better at this job since you're time out here in WCWC. Much love man, glad I found your channel.
Didn't buy this ppv live and would go to regret it. Definitely a B+ show, better than Mania. But that year I missed half of Mania & the entire Raw after because I kept going back to Denver.
Bob Bacland as champ was literally the most boring and dumbest decisions in most of wrestling history, he seriously was ,so fucking boring to watch and listen to. Bacland, Vince Russo and Arquette are the worst champs in wrestling history.
I disagree about the John Cena thing. Cena needed that storyline. I think people forget that prior to that it was talks that John Cena was getting soft and wasn't working tougher matches. Cena took an ass beating one we haven't seen in years. I remember people gasping at times when Brock did certain things to Cena. That match was absolutely violent and Cena proved that he could do it. This also was the start of a more aggressive Cena that wanted to do new things and different match types.
They made a giant deal how 2012 was such a bad year for Cena. Yet beats Brock. Good job WWE lol. I thought i heard with that Cena promo he cut after that match was supposed to be a eventual heel turn for him that never happened.
2012 was a strange year for WWE. Match quality was becoming more consistent but between Punk's title reign, The Rock and Lesnar returning, it felt like a year that failed to maximize its potential. There was so much on the table but aside from a few things, the booking was still mostly uninspired and paint-by-number. At least we got this show, The Shield at the end of the year and the best edition of TLC out of it.
Great weekend for pro wrestling but Thank you to the servicemen who have served and those who are serving to protect our freedom that's what this weekend was about in the end
