This one would've been installed in 2019 like the others, but when they replaced the logic, they also reprinted the maintenance plaque and just used the year they did that.
Being installed during the same time as Lifts 4, 5, 27 and 28 at Indro means there's more in common than you think. When they were first installed, 27 and 28 had red LOP indicators on selected floors, whereas the COP indicators have always been white. All LOPs, including the lanterns, have now been replaced with indicators; and on Lift 5 on Level 4, replaced further into a KDS 330 one.
@@cakeman8406 I didn't manage to visit them when they were first installed, so I don't know what they looked like then. Or whether they even existed at the time; it's possible that the lifts were numbered by the DA in advance, so even though 27 and 28 were among the first to be installed, they still were 27 and 28.
@@TheDragonFire123 old Indro there were 3 lifts John's Perry at the Cinema End 2 Modded Otis Lexans in the middle Otis Lexan in Myer (Partially Modded) Current Indro there are Kone TranSys in Myer (Lift 15) 2 Kone MonoSpaces (Lifts 4 & 5) 2 Modded Otis Lexans (Lifts 1 & 2) 2 Kone MonoSpaces (Lifts 6 & 7) 2 Kone MonoSpaces (Lifts 27 & 28) 2 Kone MonoSpaces in David Jones (Lifts 10 & 10A) Kone MonoSpace in Station Road Dining (Lift 9) Btw the Johns Perry got completely removed and the Lexan in Myer got replaced and moved into a different location. Lifts 1 and 2 are getting replaced into Schindler 5500 or 6000, surprised that they aren't replaced them with Kone MonoSpaces.
Here's a request. Please do the Modernised Otis Lexan's at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre. Make sure you go in both Lift 1 and Lift 2 please because last videos of them was just Lift 2
In regard to the premise of the Schindler being added in. They probably had a spare shaft provisioned when the centre was originally designed/built for future use.
I would think other RU-vidrs have recorded these escalators. It could also be that there might be information on when these escalators were installed online or even on the badge itself on the escalators
Rare to see the NCE 506 model with an older name plate. There is some at the crown casino that Alex Station film and the other is in Perth most of them have been replaced with Schindler 9700 but some still remain if not replaced yet.
Surprisingly enough, these share a lot of similarities logic-wise with 300VFEs, down to the VF whine and buttons turning off only when fully stopped. It's a long shot, but might these have been very late models using Otis logic?
I went to the big bash to try and film these lift (even though I hate watching cricket) and I was never able to because security was standing outside the lifts. 👎
They at least have been consistent on having Schindler for new lifts; the new one at Logan Hyperdome is also Schindler, despite being installed in the Orbitz era (and having a new era Hitachi plate, so it is new). Why that is though we can only speculate; perhaps there is still a better deal for Schindler 5000s in terms of maintenance package deals.

Southport Central? Then this one has received a completely pointless slap on mod with, you guessed it, TKE's favourite Mantra Sirocco fixtures. Talk about ain't broke don't fix it.
