I kinda feel like you massivley misses the point of integrated wifi ecosystems with multi room capabilities. Surely you'd known that lomg before having spent an inordinate amount of money on their product(s) For example, I know what to expect from a Sonos and what I want, hence why I bought into the ecostem. It's also a really bad idea to be swapping speakers that tonally have a completely different timbre to each other and aren't tonslly balanced to conplament each other. Considerimgyoure talking about amps, If you're going to do that, just literally invest in a home thearter package that isn’t a soundbar surround system. Regardless, in the defence of Sonos, that Sub is punching well above its weight for more than many people having their sound system needs met.
Thank you for your comment but I have no idea what you going on about? The issue is simple Once your Sonos goes POP it goes in the BIN they do not repair out of warranty products. What you are saying about ecosystem and multi room etc. I have no idea what made you say all that.
@thespecialist786 where you spoke about inputs? I know what the premise of your main point is, but that isn't why people buy sonos products (e.g., to use in conjunction with other speakers)
Good video, is there a second video on adding a second PIR for downstairs, and is there a remote to change colours or is it one solid colour? Dose not need to be long, just so we know how to connect circuit. Thanks
I replaced both my IC chips (even though only the U1401 was blown) and the unit switches on again, but only for 2 minutes then its dead.. sort of goes into protection mode.. have to wait about 10 minutes and the same happens all over again.. Would you perhaps have an idea what might cause that? It is as if when it gets hot it shuts itself down
Thankyou for your comment, where did you buy the chips from ? You have bought the wrong ones. Fake most likely or you have heated the chip too long. Buy from here mou.sr/3VR6MtN
@@thespecialist786 Got them on Amazon, as they are not available in South Africa at all. I had someone who fixes electronics put them in. I also asked another RU-vidr about the chips, as he also repairs these spesific soundbars, and he gave me the link for Amazon. He gets all his chips from there and never had any issue. If i may ask, what do you mean by "heated too long".. I'm not tech savvy, so maybe i can inform this guy who is fixing my soundbar to just check on that
I watched this video some time last year and as a result I decided to purchase a second hand 300 instead of the newly branded Module 700’s. Long story short, I saved thousands of Rands because of it. 😩🙌🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Received my unit last week. I’m over the moon. 🌙 Thank you.
Thank you, I took it apart again and one of the "spare" parts actually broke off of it's original position. You know those black inverse cone shaped guides that have two per CD layer. Well one broke off. It spins on a brass rivet, that rivet broke. Any spare parts?
THANK YOU for making this video. Followed your directions, and It worked like a charm! Amazing how dirt and dust can build up inside of a device like this! Note… I took photos of the device as just before I disassembled each step. This came in handy after I re-assembled it and the disk would reject the CDs. Looked at the pics to discover that I had re-installed one of the covers slightly incorrectly. Pictures showed what it looked like prior to disassembly. Thanks again.. back in business! Cheers!
Thank you for your kind comments, I think for someone opening it for the first time photos do help. Glad it’s all sorted. Please subscribe to my channel. Have a great day. ☺️
Hi, thanks for your vids. It helps a lot! I have a question regarding to the rq-sx models. Currently I'm repairing a rq-sx72. The motor is jittering and doesn't fully rotate at all. I doubt it's a motor problem, is it a problem with the a pcb component that's not sending the voltage in correct sequence to the motor, so it has no way of turning? Have you come across this problem? Here is a link of someone that has the exact same problem. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g8uITuj-J58.htmlsi=l-YtIlOEVrfSJ-iS
Hi, Thank you for your comments, you need to have some tools to trouble shoot this issue. First thing how are you powering the Walkman? Use the flat gum battery to test it correctly. Secondly check the supply voltage going to the motor. I have seen Motors go pop with age. This also related to dry solider joints. De solider the motor and check the supply voltage pins. Also if the belt or pulley are jammed that will also make this happen. The motors are the same on most Slim Panasonics. You can always find a donor and swap them over. All the best hope you find the clue.
@@thespecialist786 Hi, thanks for your reply. I tried powering it with both sidecar and flat battery, but the same results. I ended up swapping the motor, but unfortunately the same results. It must be somewhere in the pcb, but that is pretty hard to find. I'll see if I can get a donor pcb, that should fix the problem I think. Thanks again!
Thanks for the video. I have the same issue, same sound bar. If I need to order a new chip where do I get one from? I searched for the chip numbers from this video, but I couldn't find one with exactly the same numbers. I haven't opened mine up yet so I don't know if the chips are exactly the same. Cheers John
There are so many fake and different chips around - I will post the link in my Description shortly. Please subscribe to my channel. You need TPS54335 Switching Voltage Regulator 4.5 - 28v Input 3A
Hey Specialist love the video and how informative it is. I currently have the sound touch 300 soundbar with the 300 acoustic subwoofer. The soundbar is connected to a Vizio 70” TV via HDMI cable and I noticed the sound is not as great and/or loud when playing anything out of the TV. However, when I play music through the app it sounds amazing. I have yet to calibrate the sound with the headset the system provides (since I need to fix it) but just wanted some insight as to what I should do since I really want to watch movies and have the best experience. Thanks in advance for your response.
Thank you so much for the comments, The sound on your sound touch 300 sound bar and Sub 300 should be good. I am not sure what do you mean by not great. Remember bose will only amplify what goes in via HDMI. Have you tried using optical input because not all TV will have the best sound via HDMI. Also your TV should have an audio menu to set the equaliser. The sound touch 300 also has Bass and dialogue settings. Have you tried and set them. See link assets.bose.com/content/dam/Bose_DAM/Web/consumer_electronics/global/products/speakers/st_300_product_page/pdf/773965_og_soundtouch-300-soundbar_en.pdf This is the user guide see pages 32 and 33. Hope this helps. Good Luck!🤞 😀 Please subscribe to my channel for more videos.
I cleaned my wave player, but it didn’t fix my issue. I can a song start and then after a few seconds it skips to the next track, and so on repeatedly. Any ideas what would cause this type of issue?
Hola.
Yes, they are 100% compatible, you will not need any cables. The sub will connect wirelessly to the sound bar 700 via the Bose App. Enjoy and please subscribe to my channel.
Thank you for watching my channel, I have added two more videos on how to change the CRV filter, please subscribe to my channel. To answer your question, usually around 60k and again at 100k is the right time to replace a fuel filter
@@thespecialist786 my receiver is a Anthem MRX 720 and the sub out is only sending signal, there is no power out. Maybe I need to ajust something in the bass setting.
Excellent teardown video showing us everything that Bose refuses to do. Lets face it, once Dr Amar Bose and his colleague Dr William Short had perfected the original design, there was very little else to do with it. Nowadays you can pick up a cheap Bluetooth streamer and use these with your phone.
Well said, 100% agree with you. Once Bose have reached the pinnacle there is nothing else to improve hence the reason why bose have stopped making them. Appreciate your comments, please subscribe to my channel for more interesting facts.
Thank you for watching my channel, The door cards I was using only had the blue light and I did not use any of the Golf wiring. You need to use the full led lighting kit and the modules in each door. Everything you need is in the kit. All the best. If you need the kit I can send you Ebay link.
Really like the ambient lighting. I got a gte and I’m planning on installing them too. I want to ask about the speakers? Is there a big difference In sound quality?
Thank you for watching my channel, Yes if your after good bass then the upgrade offers that. I will be installing the Alpine Amp aswell in my next video. You need the amp for these Dynaudio speakers to perform.
Thanks for that as its very informative. Our Honda has only done 45,000km and after seeing your video I've decided not to do it yet. BTW the Honda manual lists this as an.0.8hour job! Wow thats an understatement.
Thank you for your kind feedback, my videos are usually designed to give a good DIY some reference points on where to start the job. I will be making another video on my next CRV 2017 which is exactly the same as the 2013. So the 0.8 hour will be to replace the entire part which should be a breeze but Honda also sell a partial fuel filter which you have to take bits of your old one and install into the new one, which is what I have shown in my video. Once you have the right tools to open it everything will be easy. There is a strong smell of petrol in the cabin when you replace it so you need to keep the windows open . Good Luck.
