I am so tempted to do this. I've had neck pain more than half of my life at this point (it started when I was 14/13 years old). I am tired of being in pain with nothing to help. I am cutting out dairy and going to eat fish, eggs, and meat.
Anybody significantly improved from bilateral osteoarthritis of the hips? I was given a recommendation for total hip replacement? I've been on a carnivore way of life.for nine months, lost thirty pounds. No more sleep apnea, and many things improved. But, I still have a lot of pain and stiffness some days worse than others, of course, in my hips. I have not done the lion diet, but I would like to give that a try. I really, really dread the surgery that is suggested. Tips advice will be greatly appreciated.
Carnivor got rid of arthritis for me for months. Fell off a little, back on for a couple of weeks, but the arthritis in my hands is horrible. Other benefits of carnivore seem to be in effect, but not Arthritis. Am I too impatient? Help. I don't know who to message really. So i'm going to try multiple sources. Thank you to anyone who can help, I am very grateful. I can't use my hands much, it's awful
I get a lot of pain from red meat and salt. I love meat but I get more pain from it. I have COMPLEX REGIONAL PAIN SYNDROME. But rheumatoroid artheiris people also get pain from meat and salt.
Did you eliminate everything besides meat? I was carnivore for 21months and I noticed pain was dependent on how much cheese/cream/egg whites I’d eaten. So I quit them. I’m two weeks in and I’m blown away. Pain is gone and joints feel more stable.
I was not aware that my knee is slightly bent everytime until my friend noticed it. At first I thought that my knee is just weak that is why it is bending. I just got used to standing with slightly bent knee. Now I know that I should correct it. Thanks for this video!
I like that Baker does orthopedics and what he said about weight. I am very small with scoliosis and disc bulging on my spine in 4 places. Weight has nothing whatsoever to do with the pain for me and it was unbearable to say the least. Better now on carnivore when Nothing else touched the awful pain.
How long did it take for you to feel better? On carnivore 3 months , I have seen an increase in joint pain and back pain from spinal stenosis. I am hopeful, but everyone seems to be getting relief much sooner than 3 months
Carnivore for justa few weeks, did sloppy keto before for nearly a year, started it first time for mental stuff, the description said it eases depression gives you more energy and focus ... and to my great surprise it did ... then slipped and v depressed ...now carnivore and as people keep saying... Knee is better, neck is better, hands better, elbow still dodgey ...but its inly been a few weeks this time , also doing cold treatment, only 10mins cold bath, no ice ... Yet 😂😂😂 .. wow ...thats dopamine but I dont think Id have had the gumption, the joy, the spirit ...without my new carni-brain ...🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉🎉
Could it be that the carbs come from plants? Carnivore eliminates plants. Some evidence suggests that plants cause misfolded proteins which your immune system attacks and causes inflammation? Hence autoimmune developed over time? I've been on carnivore for only 2 weeks now but I seem to have more energy now, but still having to fight my sugar cravings.
What about never having joint pain UNTIL starting lion? I've been on carnivore / ketovore off an on for 5+ years. Day 3 of strict Lion I developed weird tingling in my legs and super sore hip joints bilaterally. ... to the point that it woke me up during the night and I couldn't get comfortable... thoughts? Oh and I just gave up coffee too when starting this Lion thing... Coffee has been a part of my daily life for DECADES.
Yup, 63 year old woman, I had bad pain in my hips and ankles and at times other joints. All went as soon as I went on a low carb high fat (including lots of meat) diet 🎉
I am 65 this year and found Carnivore in Feb. I've tried different food plans and only carnivore has changed my inflamation issues. I had a hip replacement and a heart attack which I believe stemmed from inflamation. Although I couldn't get docs to agree. I've had low thyroid for 35 years and have never felt good. For the first time in my adult life I am feeling like there's hope for me and my family. I'm grateful for these docs that are teaching about carnivore. blessings of joy.
I can't believe how gassed I got from exercise 2, "legs up the wall + pumping calves" for 50 reps @ 5:35. Site-note, I felt most of the muscle activation in my ankles and tibialis. I'm wondering if I"m doing something wrong, or maybe my tibs are just super weak / never used?
I used 73/27 %. Gads what a mess! I guess I missed that in the video! I won’t forget that again! I blotted it with paper towels. The leaner would have been so much easier. 😢
I've been carnivore for five years. I started it for relief of joint pain. I was pain free until three months ago. Now pain is back and maybe a little worse than before carnivore. I can't understand what's happening I only eat meat, eggs, butter somethings a glass of milk, but not often. I do have a cup of coffee every morning, but that hasn't cause joint pain before three months ago. Anyone else experiencing this?
If diet is not the root then joint pain can come from joint compression or shearing. Mobility and stability of joints is key to relieve joint pain. It’s quite possible it’s an alignment issue. Where’s the joint pain?
Glad to hear it can take 3 months. I have not had any reduction in hip pain after 12 weeks low to no carb., but after 9 weeks I stopped eating all dairy so I will give it more time.
I have a machine at the gym that I especially like. You set the weight reach up to the handles and pull down to sit on the bench. Then pull down as many times as you can to strengthen the back muscles. I'm 68, 5'-5", 130lbs and crushed a bone in my back almost 2 years ago. I pull down 30lbs several times and still don't feel any back muscles. What I like is hanging from it, opening up the ribs and wiggle to get the juices flowing in all the little vertebrae. I don't hurt my shoulders with this exercise.
OK so tell me the carnivore diet is it just meat? Nothing else? I have had RA and LEMS for many many years. I am 77. My joints are not great and I take prednisone. If I went on this diet how can I get off prednisone?. No one knows how to explain that to me because it’s supposedly dangerous to come off prednisone. I take 6 mg per day. I’m afraid to not take it because they say it’s very dangerous. So how do I do that if I start the carnivore diet I am very confused I don’t wanna die because of that.
You can roll it out on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Place parchment paper on top and roll with a rolling pin. It will be about 1/4” thick. Then place your rack upside down on top the rolled out meat. Flip it over and remove the cookie sheet and paper. Salt it. Place in your dehydrator.
You could use a jerky gun as well. They look like a caulking gun and usually come with different attachments that you can use for things such as beef sticks or sausage. They are relatively inexpensive as well.
37 yo 205 lbs 6'0 with heavy hips arthrities . Im almost 3 weeks in very strict keto , no crabs sugar weat alcohol besides few glasses of dry red wine once in few days - but my hip pain did not go away what so ever but im keeping the diet meybe it help further in time , but for now i just lost weight and feel better but no change in the hip pain .
I have the same dehydrator. I love it. I've been slicing up chuck roast nice and thin using a Beswood 250. So friggin good!! I'm for sure going to try the ground beef jerky!
I've had hip and knee pain for years. I run a lot and after hard workouts or really long runs I would dread walking up or down stairs. It hurt so bad. I've been keto for 6 years but about a week into carnivore and my hip and knee are pain free! I couldn't believe it. I thought I was going to have to live with the pain for the rest of my life. Guess not! :)
I'm back on carnivore after a couple of years and it's great. I remember when I still ate SAD I took MSM to try to help with my crippling plantar fasciitis. It went away after 2 days. Just putting it out their.
At 1:23 are you referring to bracing/abdominal “gripping”. I have a serious problem with this, and it’s wrecking my body. What do you mean by drawing your belly button towards the spine? Doesn’t that happen when you exhale?
Ideally the belly button moves towards the spine when someone exhales. You’d be surprised how many people struggle with this. At 1:23 what I’m referring to is people that compress their ribs too much on an exhale. Many people start the exhale by compressing at the top of the ribcage instead of doing it correctly starting at the bellybutton.
Doctor says there's some bone on bone going on in my wife's right knee, so does that mean she's doomed to a knee replacement? Was hoping carnivore would fix that, somehow someway
