Instructions say: Required charger PD/QC greater than or equal to 18W. I have no idea what that means or what wall charger to buy. Can you recommend a specific one?
I have never had this happen. Can you see what the signal strength is? That's all I can think of. I have a mesh system and one of my points is a bit close to the LaView.
This is really help me grandpa. I thought my psu, motherboard, or header power button were broken. I tried to turn it on using basic components outside the case just like you showed, and it’s on ❤ and you know what the problem is? The type C cable for case header 😂 it wasn’t plugged enough deep. Thank you for the tutorial.
I have an older tv that cant get the direct tv app. So i have a fire tv stick and when i try to sign in to my direct tv account, it keeps saying there was an issue. Please try again later.
I dont have a downward pointing bulb except the front porch and the switch turns on several lamps.. cant keep it on 24 hrs....lol im not able to use this camera.. unless i do a make shift e6 bulb holder setup ..what a shame
well god for you i tryed every thing resd all kind of post contacted blink still not working cant add camera and the others keep massaging me there busy i sort of gave up !
I'm so sorry for you. I was on the verge of removing all my cameras but "lucked out" when it began working. It was very frustrating and took a bit of time.
We've had ours almost a year so far. I installed ours outside in the ceiling of our open porch and it works great!! I get a great view of our front door and the walkway leading to it. Daytime image is sharp as a tack. We have a separate wall light fixture near the front door that lights up the porch at night, so the camera's night image is very good!!. You just need to make sure you get the right product for the right situation.
believe it or not, the one thing i have to do more often than rest is set date and time ex when i change batteries and it's not intuitive, so was hoping to see it. omron should really add two buttons to make easy to figure out.
Trying to figure out the motion tracking. It tracks but then once I walk out of view it just stays pointing at whatever direction. I’d like it to go back to a “home” or default position.
What I did was used the directions icon on the app and moved it to the exact spot I wanted. Since then, it does come back to that spot. I did it with both ios and android.
EXCELLENT VIDEO! Tutorial is priceless for my elderly family member because it's presented in an unhurried, calm manner. What an excellent teacher for young and old alike. MANY THANKS and BEST REGARDS!
Neat. I just got this for my parents because of the backlighting and low actuation pressure. It's a gem but the non hot swappable switches may be a showstopper for some. I'm going to replace the keycaps with the double shot PBT from Corsair.
Watched your video and think you did a good job. We just got two L2’s yesterday and main use is Package deliveries & catching Porch Pirates. One item I don’t understand yet is “How is surveillance Area used”. Anyway, thanks for your video and it should get lots of views and positive comments. Dave retired in Manitowoc, WI.
Thanks for your input. Interesting about the surveillance area. In my settings, I have a setting for surveillance area, so I just had to go to that and pick the area I wanted which was by the door. I put it there initially using the direction settings. Then I set one up for a friend and saw they didn't have that setting! My phone is android and hers was IOS. So I used the direction buttons and moved it where I wanted and that seemed to be the starting point. I'm not positive as I just did it and haven't had time to research it. Best of luck to you
I had major issues with live view, that got progressively worse even after rebooting the sync module multiple times, upgrading my xfinity router, etc. What worked for me (for now) was to reduce all of my cameras video quality to standard which is the recommended setting. Update: That only worked for a short time. (I even have my sync 2 module sitting right next to my wireless router but live view is sporadic, if at all.)
Very Good Video. Thank you- Informative and understandable. Just got mine and the tiny print on the paperwork was too confusing. Terrific tips about the wall plug
@lostinthe60s Thanks. I'll look out for that. I have to get a new tv, though. I have an ancient LG that won't recognize any signals from an antenna or streaming stick. I wouldn't have known the on-smart TV was no good anymore if I hadn't tried it. Luckily, Best Buy has some for $55-65 that suit my purpose and my bughet.
I am preparing an updated look at this lightbulb camera. I'm taking all the input I've received plus other things I've read. I will definitely do a night time section. Sorry for your issues.
Thank you for posting the video. I just wanted to comment that the 360 nighttime camera‘s function are really poor and I wish I wouldn’t have purchased the camera either.🥹 if anybody knows how to get around the nighttime situation please post..
Since Amazon took over blank, they’re fucking worthless. I’m having the same problem. I’m grandfathered in. I have 10 of these cameras and they’re all for security purposes but lately they have all started having problems and I’m just beyond disgusted with them. When I call AMAZON support For help they have absolutely no use to me. They can take the system and stick it clean up their ass. The worst thing that ever happened to blink was when AMAZON took over and it’s all their fault. They bought the company but they know absolutely nothing about it or technical support. They don’t know a damn thing about cameras, they just sell them, and all they want is more money.
So sorry with all the troubles you're having. Like you I have a Legacy account. Since this fix all has been well but as you saw, it was not easy to get a fix for it. Wishing you good luck.
...oh...forgot to mention. The camera is supposed to work only on 2.4gh. I HAD to use my 5G as it wouldn't connect stable to 2.4. I tried the 5g just as a why not try. And Bam! The Camera is very kool.
...i know this is a late comment. But dude...get rid of the glass or get the cheap xtender. The lens needs to be CLEAR of anything in its view. NO GLASs
I am using only the DirecTV Stream Gemini device now. I am really liking it a lot. The app version is limited on what you can do a bit and navigation is not as simple as the DTV remote. While traveling it is top notch.
There is not a thing wrong with the LaView and you would have this same problem with any light bulb camera. Purchase a "light socket extender" and the camera will be below the rim of the glass
There were a few things wrong that were a truly problems as I mentioned. I also mentioned that i thought the light bulb camera was ok but I have used it improperly. I am now at the point where I am actually going to purchase a new one and install it properly and re review it., I have been pleased with its performance over the last year but still have a few issues with the positioning and detection. So I'll update.. I do appreciate your comments and am conviced I should try it again on a video. Have a great day and thank you.
Sorry but I''m not going to be near the monitor for a few days. Is it possible that its in the whats in the box infor? I'll check when i'm back by the monitor.
Does this help. I used an online user manual. Model name VESA screw hole specs (A * B) in millimeters Standard Screw Quantity C27R50* C32R50* 75.0 x 75.0 (2.95 x 2.95) 4.0 mm , 10.0 mm long 4 EA Do not install your Wall Mount Kit while your product is turned on. It may result in personal injury due to
DON'T waste time like me. Try reducing the video quality of the problem cameras to the lowest video quality setting and then see if live view works. If it does then shut Blink app down and go back to settings and change quality back to standard. I spent hours trying different things until I tried doing that and it went back to normal etc. it's all to do with the WiFi talking to the camera
Had my cameras or over 4 to 5 years. 1 of my cameras has great wifi connection, and strong module connection. Also had fresh ultimate lithium energizer batteries but still wouldn't work with the live video or refresh the thumbnail picture. Finally I got it to work, by slapping in some cheaper AA batteries. I even re put the lithium energizers and wouldn't work so I put the heap ones in again and it seems like they like the cheaper stuff.
Got this from Microsoft Copilot: Only a select number of Samsung curved monitor models come with built-in speakers; the majority do not have built-in speakers. You can find out whether a monitor features built-in speakers by navigating to the Specs section on the product listing page on Samsung’s official site1. The Samsung CR502 monitor, specifically the 32" Class CR50 Curved Full HD Monitor (LC32R502FHNXZA), does not have built-in speakers2.
Question. Did the proximity of the camera that was not working have anything to do with the camera not working with live view In other words, was this camera further from the Sync Module compared to the other cameras?
