It's all a matter of planning. If a farmer sows poorly, he will reap poorly. A simple piece of wisdom. 🙂 That should mean, beside other sides: Events like the Roger Albert Clark Rally and their creators turn to the right direction, as regards the ideal culture of rallying! 😍
@@andreaslugauer8280 I know but the idea was probably behind making all terrain cars from more efficient four cylinders which were practical in multiple ways after the Opec crisis of the 1970s. They were better than other race cars in every way. That time is over now. There's not much sense in tearing up the countryside any longer. I mean I wish I could have been part of it more since I was stuck in America but again the time has passed. We just gotta let go of the 70s-80s-90s.
@@curiousnomadic I thank you very much for your answer. But it is very difficult for me to understand your message. For me, your statements regarding the opec crisis, four-cylinder engines and "this time is now over" are a little too imprecise and not meaningful enough. And what do you mean by "There's not much sense in tearing up the countryside any longer?" Is it because of carbon dioxide pollution in the atmosphere? I think there are more effective ways to reduce this than preventing a wide variety of cars from taking part in rallies.
@@andreaslugauer8280 No rally racing trashes the local ecosystem just for yucks. Nothing to do with emissions. There is no point in it. It's time for us to grow up.
@@curiousnomadic I still didn't get the point of your message. What do you mean by "grow up"? That we as humans should dispense with all fun? And therefore also at rallies? It's better to tell the people who wage wars and cause a lot of environmental and material damage that they should grow up. My point of view.
That's really fact. The World Championship of rallying has lost much of its original adventure character, and also it looks in its sporting demands in terms of competitive participation and technical challenges quite disoriented. I think, to stay a serious representation of rally competition on highest level, the WRC has to work hard on its quality and attraction for creating a much better future. What makes me hoping is that the FIA recently launched a survey where people who like rallies can give an expression of their opinion.
