The answer to his question at 17:17 is that Christ Himself gave that authority. It’s written in John’s Gospel chapter 20: verses 22 to 23. It’s sad to hear that he thought the Catholic Church teaches that you earn your way to heaven. Catholics don’t teach that at all. This is an unfortunate example of poor catechesis.
glen keane is my favorite artist of all time, i know this is kinda old but :,) i’ll never get tired of hearing glen talk about the characters he animated and designed, and just art in general. thanks for this 🤙

Thank you for putting these on RU-vid! I listen to them at work. It means a lot to me. I've watched all the Disney behind the scenes stuff that I could get my hands on, so I usually have to listen to the same ones over and over. (I almost have them memorized. . . ) I already listened to the podcast on iTunes, but this one is still newer; so, really: thank you.
Tom's advice was the best/perfect in my opinion. In this day and age there's no excuse for not being at least a semi-competent animator before you consider getting a position at a big studio.
