@@anthonymichaelwilson8401 thanks so much for your comment, I was lucky enough to grow up living there… & really oddly in timing with your comment, I was there today to see my mum and actually walked this same route beach for a swim in Pwll Du, which I haven’t done in many years sadly. Hope to see you there one day :-)
when doing that loop, always have a good amount of elevation or you won't have room for recovery. I used to have this art-tech spitfire too and my friend crashed it, we coulndnt fix the motor mount area anymore cause it's shattered. However, we saved the parts, and only the prop is broken(but spare prop is still unused), but the spinner/motor/electronics/wings and its ailerons/rudder/tail/elevator/wheels/landing gear all are still fine. Also saved the pilot too
@@ScratchySlide haha, love it…. Playing Scalextric on Christmas Day! a match made in heaven! & Huge nostalgia from younger days doing the same too. Enjoy :-)
I had this in.... 1987? I remember there was a jump in the middle rather than a bridge, The "turbo boost" I guess. But I could never stick the landing.
I think you’re right, the side picture on the box shows a yellow arrow track part which I don’t have :-( , I used some bits of modern track I have here to make this video as I was mainly interested in getting the car running again. Think I need to find some original track to play Turbo Boost! Haha :-)
Hello. I love this footage. I live in kidwelly and I am currently making a video just for youtube about the castle. Any chance youd let me use some of this footage?
Adam Davies - Hi Adam, yes of course you can, are you able to obtain it via RU-vid or will you need the original video files? Not sure I still have them.... thanks, Derek
Thanks Derek. Thats awesome. Yeah I should be able to download it from youtube. They're in 1080 p which is great so should be good enough quality. Thanks again for the upload. @@Evolution-75
Thanks Kenny, I think this flight earlier was about 20mph and the plane coped fine.... It's my skill level that's holds it back.... I know you're a phantom expert, but do you fly fixed wing as well? Thanks for your comment....
Im sure you have more experience than me. I never flown any fixed wing in my life :( Only drone i flew for last 9 months. I do have few buddies fly fixed wing and drone.. LOL, fixed wing is too hard to fly.. Drone is too ez..Even dummy like me know how to fly it..Even with my eyes closed. LOL
Lol.... To be fair, the drone is mega relaxing to fly... Fixed wing is a bit more scary.... It's a totally difference experience... But I do like the challenge..... You should maybe start with a low cost powered glider type plane to see how you get on.... I bet you'd find it ok, the controls are in essence the same as the drone.... Just no 'pause' button once it's in the air like you can with the drone... I wouldn't start with a jet though lol... I've been doing this over 20years and I still find myself panicking at moments about which way to move the sticks as its moving so fast Lololol....
Was walking the dog around the cliffs there.Lots of swallow nests.Walking back I noticed a strange metallic object in the sand, another dog walker said it looked suspicious and informed the authorities. Turned out it was from WW2! It was detonated by a bomb disposal team later that day! Gave me the shivers because I actually brushed some of the sand off it with my shoe!
Flying into the building was cool until the drone lost GPS and then for a second lost all signal.... If it had dropped into return to home I would have been screwed lol
