Mary, did you know that your baby boy would one day walk on water? Mary, did you know that your baby boy would save our sons and daughters? Did you know, that your baby boy has come to make you new? This child that you delivered, would soon deliver you. Mary, did you know that your baby boy would give sight to a blind man? Mary, did you know that your baby boy would calm a storm with his hand? Did you know, that your baby boy has walked where angels trod? And when you kiss your little baby, you've kissed the face of God. Oh Mary, did you know? The blind will see The deaf will hear The dead will live again. The lame will leap The dumb will speak The praises of The Lamb. Oh Mary, did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation? Mary, did you know that your baby boy will one day rule the nations? Did you know, that your baby boy is Heaven's perfect lamb? And the sleeping child you're holding, is the great I AM. Oh Mary. Oh Mary. Mary, did you know
I have played this arrangement by David Lanz many times, but not that fast. I enjoyed looking to see you playing the exact same notes. I have a piano book with this arrangement in it, and the people who taught my piano (though I've played by ear, and still do, primarily), numerically labeled the notes, according to which finger was easiest to play which note. Like on my right hand, 5 is the thumb, while 1 is my pinky, maybe the other way around, I can't remember exactly at the moment.
Thank you for doing this. I can barely read music so would take forever to learn such a piece. I however have very good technical ability so am able to play this despite my poor reading! Thanks again
