I have a Gamma Protege and a Stylecraft Rebel, and while I like light clippers I couldn’t help but think that they ‘felt’ cheap but I figured going from Wahl I just wasn’t used to them and that that’s just how they are. I also have the JRL 2020c but never got the the trimmer due to questionable reviews but seeing you say that SC/Gamma are overpriced, yeah you’re right. Looking it form built POV I see exactly what you’re saying!

If I could only have one and nothing else, I would pick one of these: 1. BaByliss FXOne LoPROFX 2. BaByliss Original LoPROFX 3. BaByliss LithiumFX All three of them cut the same and they’re the three I reach for the most.

I was thinking about getting one of these, (black FX3) but you’ve convince me otherwise. You’ve answered all my questions about it. I have the red FX3 and it’s my favorite trimmer. It cuts the cleanest lines and cut down to skin. Mine came ready right out of the box. I love that thinner, Andis LI style trimmer. I have two of those as well the normal one and the GX one. The normal one is acting up after a couple years, and I’m relying a lot on my FX3. I was thinking about trying this black one but now I’ll just keep looking. Another contender for me would be the FXONE.
I hear you. My recommendation would be the FXOne LoPROFX or the BaByliss LithiumFX. I like both of them equally and they both hit with the best of them. The TPOB X is a solid hitter too. Thank you for watching!

I recently watched your excellent RU-vid video about choosing the right color for a MacBook, which clarified many aspects for me. However, I'm still a bit confused about which color to choose for my MacBook Pro with the M3 Pro chip. This is my first Apple product and my initial step into the Apple ecosystem. I’m hoping to select a color that will harmonize well with other Apple products I might purchase in the future and avoid making an expensive mistake. Could you help me decide on a color that is both classic and aesthetically pleasing, and which might also align well with the broader range of Apple products?
They all align well because they’re all pretty neutral. If you weigh the pros and cons like I mentioned, it’s pretty clear that Space Gray is the best all-around option. Space Black is second best. Silver is third. I do not like Midnight or Starlight. The M3 Pro only comes in Space Black and Silver. Thank you for watching 🤙
What’s your take on iPads? I went to an Apple Store today with the intention of getting one of the Pros but couldn’t justify it. I think I’ll just get a new MacBook and an iPad Mini 7 (when released in October).
iPad’s are for parents who are trying to keep their kids under control. I’ve had about eight of them and sold all of them. Get a 15” M3 Air or a 16” M3 Pro MacBook Pro and an iPhone. No need for anything else.
I’d say the BaByliss would probably survive a drop over the JRL. I don’t think either would do very well though… just like most other clippers and trimmers. Most of them would break from a waist down drop. Therefore, I wouldn’t buy any of them based on this metric. Servicing or cleaning either of them is easy/equal.
Thanks a lot for your video, mate. I do feel these 2 clippers are amazing and the "new" versions (FxOne and Onyx) should mean improvements. However, when it comes to money for business, I usually prefer to go a little bit behind the hype. Not having the latest product means cheaper parts for prior models :) Finally, between these 2 clippers, I'd pick the Babyliss because to me it feels more ergonomic and balanced
I don't know what type of hair you've been cutting, but the wahl hi viz the best trimmer out right now. I put my @wahl hi viz against any trimmer that you have. You crazy if you got jrl number 1.
I never seen anything hit as clean as a Andis although the cordless one not as powerful. The Whale detailers hit for a lil while but break easy . I have to say that babyliss hits the best right now but I don't like there stuff and all those others like style craft are super cheap products
I started 7 months ago cutting with the Babyliss PRO LoPROFX, and I have been very happy using it 6 days a week . I just bought the JLR Onoxy. I was told by my Barber supply guy said, these are excellent for fading. I got them for a sweet price!! I watched a lot of videos before I decided to go with the JRL. Both clippers feel great in your hand. I'm very happy with my purchase. Great video 👍
Are the new Fx-One trimmers better than the BaByliss FXOne LoPROFX (Trimmer) & BaByliss LoPROFX (Trimmer) & the SNAPFX? DO you rate the DLC 2.0 blade as being the best? Is it better than the Graphite 2.0? Is it better than the Goldfx blade? In your humble opinion ofc? Thanks
I like the Original LoPROFX and FXOne LoPROFX more than any of the FX models (The flashlight grip models). I’m not a big fan of any of the FX’s aside from the SNAPFX. The DLC 2.0 and Graphite 2.0 are basically the same blade. The Original GoldFX blade is the best in my opinion. Thanks for watching!
@@clintmallon I have heard that the TPOB Gold 6.9 Psycho blade is supposedly a better/upgraded version of the GoldFx blade, would you agree with this? I am thinking of purchasing that blade & affixing it on either the snapfx or the Jrl 2020T

Also for being the very 1st channel to actually verbalize & confirm what I had assumed for a while now, which is primarily the OTT Hype machine surrounding the Gamma/Stylecraft machines which has infiltrated even the most popular of Reviewers/influencers. I just wanted to clarify, if I was to purchase a new clipper. Trimmer & foil shaver would this be along the right track…? 1) Trimmer: JRL 2020T Fresh fade OR the Snap-fx(I mention this due to it coming with a charging stand & 2 spare batteries) 2) Clipper: Jrl Onyx, I love just how exceptional build quality looks & how quiet these are 3) Foil shaver: What would you recommend? The Babyliss fx02 perhaps/UV double foil? Your thoughts? 4) What in your opinion is the best Babyliss blade that should be used to change up the standard blade? Is it the GoldFx blade? I just bought the gamma boosted and sent it back because like you said once i unboxed it i can tell it was cheaply made and super loud. I was not pleased with the quality so I sent them back.

Hey you sure they don’t use the same charger because I broke my x trimmer charger and was going to buy the troll trimmer for 45 on Amazon instead of buying charger???

Interestingly enough this review helped me buy an entirely different trimmer that was in my top two. i was deciding between the BaBylissPRO FX3 Trimmer and the SC Saber. But like you i love a smaller size as im replacing a pair of And is Slimline Pro LiIon. but your reference that you got yours at Walmart which is my normal goto but i forgot to check.. i found the FX3 on walmart on sale for $107.99! $52.00 off! their regular price of 159.00 but actually $67 less than Retail ! Great find. there are only 5 more left in stock from this walmart ProSeller. I checked the other trimmers.. they weren't discounted like that.
Watch my review of the FX3. It’s one of my least favorite trimmers of all time. I can’t stand it. If you want something from BaByliss, get the Original LoPROFX or the FXOne LoPROFX.

You heard about kiepe prescelta? It's an underrated clipper at the price of 50-60 €,and a lot of top barbers from my country (Romania),use it&get super fresh fades.Can you da a review about it? The materials of it are not exceptional,but the result of exceptional haircuts that you get with that dlc fade blade are🔥🔝.Peace & keep doing what you do because you will get barbers around the world that will be your followers of content that you do.Anyway,superb and smart full review about any little angles of each clipper/trimmer🔝🤙💯✂️
