Joton is a veteran techno figure from Spain who has over two decades of outstanding releases for labels like Ben Sims' Symbolism, Developer's Modularz, Juan Sanchez's FORMAT, and Abstract Division's Dynamic Reflection, as well as his own Newrhythmic. For this DT:Premiere we selected "Bravura" which is a jackin' and ethereal adventure. Subtle harmonics and metallic textures create a spacey and functional cut full of atmosphere and lush, analogue grooving.

Belarus born, and now Barcelona-based, Alexey Dunchyk is a promising talent who once again impresses with four original cuts on the new 'Thoughtcrime' EP. After releasing his 2022 EP on Nastia's label, Lee Holman returns to NECHTO with his unique techno sound also featured on Kaiser's K S R and Philippe Petit's Knotweed. Having established a strong international reputation with an unwavering underground mentality, he has performed at esteemed locations such as Tresor Berlin, Khidi Tbilisi, and Corsica Studios in London, both as a live artist and DJ. For this DT:Premiere we selected "It's Not Over" that wastes no time with fierce juddering kick and metallic hats. The stabbing Detroit-esque chords and added synth notes create a soulful and up-tempo vibe, before the old-school vocals take hold and alight this behemoth to the highest levels of dance floor ecstasy.

CMRK has exclusively appeared on Smashead Records also known as SMSH until now, and and the Lithuanian talent has put together a collection of five new original works on his new and debut EP for Abstraction. For this DT:Premiere we selected "Bonfire Torture" which begins with a pumping and vigorous energy. Frantic clap patterns and tribal hits are met with a rising siren-like synth that becomes the hypnotic draw, fading down and becoming more prominent in cyclical waves for a raw, percussive workout.
Luigi Madonna's Contempo label has featured music and remixes from the label boss himself as well as Gaetano Parisio, Alarico, and Raffaele Attanasio. Portugal's Fvndo has evolved from a talented drummer in rock bands and philharmonics to a master of electronic soundscapes. His journey through music has been punctuated by a formal study of composition at Lisbon's Restart institute. The outcome is an industrial and daring approach that has been heard on tracks for Ricardo Graduno's Illegal Alien, Robert Hoff's trau-ma, and the mighty HAYES collective. For this DT:Premiere we selected "Criterion" with its freaky and dystopian hook. Rolling analogue percussion sets the foundation, while crackling, lightning style sound effects make a huge impact with its quality sound design on this purist cut.
Drama BCN is an underground techno label from the streets of Barcelona, releasing cool and groovy analogue, machine-driven cuts by the likes of Volpe (ARG) and Drucal and the new EP welcomes local hero Rocco.fx along with remixes by Alberto Tolo and Feo Paraíso. Feo Paraíso are a talented Spanish duo who are familiar faces to Drama BCN, with a few appeareances on the label already by way of original music and remixes, as well releasing on Smashead and U-traxx. For this DT:Premiere we selected the Feo Paraíso remix of "SP 1200" with a slammin' and jackin' rhythm at its essence. A stunning, raw groove is a certain dance floor worker, with added hypnotic atmospherics and some tasteful, deep chords for extra emotion locked inside.
Mexican imprint Illegal Alien has produced some of the finest techno available, and as well as its owner Ricardo Garduno leading the charge, it has seen inclusions from Perc, Stanislav Tolkachev, Xhin, and Brendon Moeller. With his releases on Tresor, Oscar Mulero’s PoleGroup, and Bas Mooy’s Mord, to mention a few, Jonas Kopp remains a pioneer and a never-ending fountain of ideas combined with a keen sound exploration. The track we selected for this DT:Premiere is the title production named “Rebelión Sideral” that kicks off with a perfect mix of tough percussion and chopping, electro-style stabs. The powerful groove is later met with haunting, metallic screeches and twisted, robotic vocals giving it a darker edge that will no doubt be a sonic experience for a smoky club environment.
With releases by artists like Martyn Hare, Forest People, and Kaylah, among others, the Netherlands-based label Krachtvoer has its sights set on the underworld of techno. Their most recent offering, Athena is welcomes Italy's Code 701, who has released on Alex Dolby's Affekt, Vegim's TMM, Subsist, and Diffuse Reality. The label head, Kracht, supplies one of two remixers on offer, and his repertoire includes Darko Esser aka Tripeo's Wolfskuil and Rotterdam's Planet Rhythm. For this DT:Premiere we selected his remix of “The Summit” that is a driving dance floor jam. Raw, analogue percussion helps to set this up for a bouncy and jackin' ride, while a haunting synth pierces a stunning breakdown, before relaunching into the energetic finale.

For more than 20 years, he has been putting out music, and his work can be found on labels like Michael Klein's BLK DRP, Coyu's Suara, Robert Hoff's trau-ma, Radio Slave's RSPX, and Dense & Pika's Kneaded Pains, to mention a few. For this DT:Premiere we selected the track “Hurt” that has a thumping groove at its core. Stabbing chords are met with haunting notes and a jackin' percussion rhythm, while some breakbeat highlights thrown in add to this infectious and raw, floor ready weapon.
After a brief, recent hiatus, Petter B returns to his Bond imprint, showcasing his customary innovative and high-caliber sound design concepts. He consistently creates dramatic pieces and is well-known for his savage tracks for Adam Beyer's Drumcode, Cari Lekebusch's H-Productions, Developer's Modularz, and Dutch stable Planet Rhythm. For this DT:Premiere we selected the title track “Deckards Journey” with a minimalistic yet powerful approach. Electrified synths set a moody scene, while stabbing modular tones act like shimmering, analogue rainfall that are later met with howling tones in this introspective and dystopian trip.
