can already see especially ranch pals make great use of nocturnal. ranch never been sanity issue so long as you keep them fed this one trait can double ranch production in essence.
Best place to mine crude oil is on the far west of the western volcanic island, only place with 3 oil mining sports within close proximity, i have 3 oil miners, 3 power generators and a bass full of Osarks, i consistently have 1000-2000 crude oil.
I wonder if condensation effects Yakumo's partner ability, like the more stars it has, the better the effect and rarer passives it can attract. I'm just theorizing though so I could very well be wrong.
The noble and fine fur passives make me wonder if merchants and buy/selling/trading will get much more intricate in the future, or this is a way to kind of negate nerfing the sale of nails a couple updates ago. It would be interesting if we could somehow give merchants on our base pals with these passives for better items and prices.i would imagine that since each merchant has a pal to help guard them, then maybe giving them pals with specific traits can help the player in that wya too. Idk if it would be worth that effort but the idea of it being an option would be cool imo.
Nah I've got one large tower with two orzerks with artisan workslave conceited and nocturnal No concencing I didn't have anything to breed them with serious Two such orzerks and the tower to boost is more than enough for two oil extractors
Great content. The in-game comparisons are in a format that have been much needed by the community. I would really like to see comparisons of different passive skills on production. Like, will Digtoise produce more ore with: Artisan/Work Slave/Serious/Lucky Or Artisan/Work Slave/Workaholic/Nocturnal There seems to be some disagreement in the community about the best passives.
WIth them going forward with official Palworld Plushies, I'm DESPERATELY hoping they make a Flambelle plush, I NEED IT because Flambelle's my favorite Pal in the game
I heard that old alpha pals still got +100 sprint boost. Is this correct? I also noticed that alpha pals need less food. There it would be interesting to see how much longer an alpha pal can work until it needs to get food
For Yakumos skill, you both need the saddle, and to upgrade it to 4 stars to have a decent rate. If memory serves it's 30% chance per passive trait at 4 stars while riding it.
I have the 3 oil node base with 2 extractors on each for a total of 6 extractors, and a 4* Orserk can actually fully charge a large tower on his own, but I have 2 large towers and a couple more Orserk so he doesn't have to do all the work.
Yakumo’s partner skill needs to be increased to have better chances of getting the passive to transfer. At 4* it’s around 30% chance to pass a skill on
condensation level increases the effectiveness of the partner skill in all cases. - in the case of the yakumo it goes from about a 10% sync rate per skill to about a 30% sync rate per skill at 4*. its still not very high (~1% chance to transfer all 4 skills) and isn't able to transfer Legend, Lucky, or the Elemental skills. - For ranch pals they drop their item once ever 50 seconds regardless of passives, the game picks from 1 to the skill level of the pal so 1-5 on a 4* and drops that number, so on average its 2.5 drops per 50 seconds for a 4* ranch pal. - in the case of the Anubis the 4* anubis goes from handywork 4 to handwork 5 which increases its bonus to work speed from 5x to 10x. generally speaking a 4* anubis is worth 2 0-3 star anubis which is worth 2 of the Handywork 3 pals. Edit: I left a note on your run speed video but condensation level increases the move speed bonus on sand for Dazemu so retesting at 4* would give you very different results.
Where do you get this information I’ve been looking up charts to find the percentages for the new pal partner skills but all the ones I find don’t show the percentages on any of the new pals partner skills
@@andrew6464 there is a datamine out there that was turned into a website. its really poorly SEO so just search "Palworld Database" and it should come up. I've found some inconsistencies with my own testing, but its pretty comprehensive once you get a feel for navigating it.
so stats say that Dazemu is 900/1200 base speed. however his passive skill increases his movement speed while mounted on sand by 50/62/74/86/100%, so a 4* Dazemu has a 1800 move speed on sand which is slightly faster than a Jet at 1700. with your testing did you test at 0 star?
i just think Yakumo is good for early into mid game. easy to breed and has good skill. just breed musclehead and serenity on them and they'er good to go
u need to sit on yakumo (while loading in the pals i think) to have a chance for copying passives. Lvl 4 star condensed yakumo should be about 30% chance
Don’t need to sit on it, it just has to be out at the time of capture that’s when the game calculates it apparently and yea lvl 4 is about 30% chance where as lvl 1 is roughly 15 % chance
@@damienvucic77 i know that IV's are calculated on boss spawn, thats why i learned boss hp numbers to see if jet/frost are 90+IV in health and dont need to waste time fighting them. Shouldnt be passives calculated on spawn too? or is it just the yakumo effect that happens extra on capturing?
@@MrHawknSeems the passive is added on capturing. I rarely have Yakumo out when the pal spawns in. Way too slow for hunting stuff down. But the increase in catches w/ Yakumo’s passive is noticeable. (I just keep one passive on my Yakumos. Feels more useful for breeding goals.) I have heard that having Yakumo land attacks increases the odds. No clue about that one, but another RU-vidr who seems better than any other I’ve seen on testing stuff claims it seems legit.
I don't know if it's still the case, but Nightwing was the only flying pal who would scale when condensed (though he was still far outclassed by others). Do any of the new mount's movement speeds scale when condensed?
the bonus on Daze does: 50/62/74/86/100% It legit walks faster than a jet on sand. still slower sprinting but its impressive none the less Edit: and a handful of the primary mounts increased their speed when condensed. the rule generally runs 0/10/12/15/20% and applies to Direhowl, Nitewing, Rayhound, Fenglope, Paladius and Necromus. Galeclaw also has a glider speed increase.
@@nicholashiatt527 I added an edit I'm not sure you saw. the old primary mounts all scaled some with condensation, just not as hard as Galeclaw and now Dazemu
With the condensing on the ranching pals. It's not a guarantee. The way it works is say you get your chicken up to 4 star, lvl 5 egg laying. That means your chicken has a chance to drop up to I think it's four or five eggs on a single drop. It's not that he will, it's that he can. So he may still drop one egg, then next might be two. Then next might be five. That's how all the ranching pals work. And, work speed has no effect on them whatsoever.
So if you have a pal in the ranch with lucky, serious, work slave, and artisan. It's going to produce the same amount of material as a pal with no traits?
@@ScottyWags75 That is correct. Now you can up their production by giving traits that cause them to eat less. You can also up their production by giving them movement speed. But those only up production by making those things happen less/faster. They don't have a direct effect on their productions.
@@sukumarbhattacharjee1437 special passives cant be passed on via yakumo partner skill so legend/lucky/Lord of Lightning etc etc being a special passive wont be transferable via yakumo. I think Work speed and Speed passives are better passed on via yakumo to make capturing wild pals to perfect breeding pal easier
@@joshuax1987 yes it does , i tested it . Each pal with noble gives +5 % to sell price / -5 % to buy price. Fine furs has the same effect , just at 3 % . If you get a party of 5 pals with both Noble (+5 % ) and fine furs ( +3% ) then you can increase your sell price by whopping 40 % , or get a discount of 40 %.
