Howdy! My name is Andrew and I track & forecast all sorts of weather. I am based in Florida but stream all over the main 48 states. If you so happen to run across my channel hello! we are glad to have you around :) anyone is welcome!
While cloud seeding is real it’s not commonly used in the USA only areas where there’s no precipitation. This wouldn’t make sense though because of how calm it’s been
Central Florida is having weird thunderstorm/downpour combos pretty much daily of late. Never anything on the AccuWeather forecast for more than the usual thunderstorm activity with .05 inches of rain or less. Yeah right. We're getting heavy downpours for hours. Downpour as in you can't see the house across the street through the rain. Very weird.
I’m here in central Florida as well this is just normal sea breeze initiated storms that are not classified as severe. They may be loud and bringing a good amount of rain but still isn’t anything to be concerned about
@@NWW116 we've been in this town for 8 years, I lived in Orlando for 5 years before that. There's nothing normal about this weather pattern. No idea what is going on. No conspiracy theories just kinda confused. My poor dehumidifier (rated for 2600 sqft in a 10x9 foot bedroom) is working overtime, dumped couple times a day, never needed one before this year. Yeah, July is hot and humid but this is ridiculous.
@@NWW116 I hope you aren't on Duke. Our poor ACs can't keep up on reduced power input. Now there's a conspiracy theory. Going by what the fans and lightbulbs are putting out we're working with about 70% normal output. Thought I was going blind, it's so dark in here 😆. Good to know.
🙏 I really hope the storms stay away I’m finally going on vacation Aug 12th to Fort Lauderdale 🤩 it’s been 14 years since the last time I went to FL I’ve only stayed on the gulf so I’m really looking forward to being on the other side & I’m staying at a oceanfront resort so 🙏 no hurricanes please 😱
Power is out in decatur Illinois. Edit: at 1 am power has been restored. The workers even worked thru another heavy downpour and bad lighting and thunder to get power back on.
@@NWW116 I get optimistic every year but this year really is the worst. My humidifier is working full blast in the bedroom and all 3 ACs are too. The living room stays in the mid/upper 80s after about 2 pm. Haven't been out in weeks. Thanks for the reply.
@@NWW116 my husband works in this all day, in a warehouse. Kinda scary how much hotter it is in there. Just wish it could drop a little of the heat and get the humidity down to where we're not breathing water. Ugh.
