my battery is draining since i installed the tisplay, how can i make sure, that its not the android display, that takes away the battery if i turn off the engine? would be a great help
Two other things to add. 1. My install instructions included a step that "If you have an after-market amplifier, you'll need to transfer an optical cable. It is originally plugged into one corner of the radio DIN plug (the big connector wired to the car). Pull it out of there and push it into the same position on the back of the radio." This is because the 'new' wiring harness does not pass on this optical signal. Now, I do NOT have an aftermarket amplifier, but without making this transfer I got no sound. After transferring, worked properly. 2. No sound on one side (usually left works, right doesn't). This is likely because the 3.5mm Aux audio plug is only half pushed in (or goit pulled out as you finished installation. Push it in hard, and tape it in if needed.

I have a similar unit but every time I slow down below 30kmph it switches to Merc scree then when I accelerate above 30km it goes to android auto, any thoughts on how to keep it in android auto? I have manual set.
@@tylerbushy2542 Hi, there’s a few configurations your car may have. AMI input, or USB input. We provide an adapter depending on your vehicle model. Also, some cars may not have any input in the center console storage at all (other than a charging USB). If this is the case, we activate your AUX via factory settings and no connection will have to be made to the center console storage box.
@@tylerbushy2542 Will need to activate the aux. Send us a message on WhatsApp and we’ll be happy to arrange a video call to walk you through it. (786) 242-5400
I was actually watching some of your other videos and found the one about turning in the aux feature in the factory settings and I now have sound out of my unit, thank you so much for the help and fast replies, I will definitely recommend you to friends and call with any future questions thank you!
Can you use the oem microphone for phone calls and commands? Ive often found the after market mics are really bad and pick up a lot of road noise/generic.
@@lwcevents9439 90% of models will reuse the oem Mercedes mic. This depends on the oem audio system and amp routing. The few models that cannot reuse the mic will have to use the android mic included with your screen kit. We always suggest testing the phone calls with the screen prior to reassembling the dash to determine this.
@@NotLik3Th3m the most difficult and time consuming part is disassembling the dash and door panels on the vehicle. This is what requires the most time and effort. After that, the kit is very straight forward to power on and program with your oem screen. We also provide full support and instructions for any orders placed with us. Thanks!

I just picked my car up $468 intalled here in CA...start it up "hazards malfunctioning" it says...smh.... for some reason you can't seem to get my phone to go through the speakers like when you're making a phone call or something the radio is still playing as I'm connected I don't freaking know I don't understand it at all I'm just pissed I feel like I wasted money at this point an f***** my car up or something maybe I'm jumping the gun I don't know... it's Friday both...these guys are closed as well as here where i had it installed... I guess I'm supposed to take it back Monday tho...they had my car for two whole days...Im basically writing this...has anybody had similar stuff happen?..
@@TheGingerThatiAm Hi, your unit doesn’t sound like it came from us, but I can still give some tips. Hazards malfunctioning is referring to the hazard lights. This connection is made in the bottom right hand corner of your oem Mercedes radio. You probably left it unplugged. Not hearing audio like phone calls through the android unit could be settings or connections. That’s something I’d suggest calling us for to troubleshoot together. 786-242-5400

The phone call sound from the Android Bluetooth is poor quality. Do you have a hint on how to keep the original Bluetooth for phone calls and music sound from Android intact?
@@danceoneradio You can have your phone paired to both MB Bluetooth and android Bluetooth, but it typically doesn’t work well this way as the two way connection could create interferences. You can give it a shot.
@@accessoriesinternationalin6358 It does create interferences. They need to step up the quality of the microphone. Anybody who calls me complains about audio quality.
