I had to wait until we watched Longlegs to finish this video lol Nicolas Cage is amazing!!! "DADDY! MOMMY!" 😂 I definitely could have used more of him. I don't know if you have seen Mom and Dad. If you haven't that is a MUST watch. Fun Spirit haul.
Just came across you, didn’t watch too much but love the content.. subbed and I’ll try to keep up❤🎉 what a night of fights .. the sphere was super dope .. I had Val round 4 sub on verdict and she was really going for that Mf !! Josh van was also my guy .. didn’t think he’d pull it off after that 1st round ngl😅 and I also had him round 2 sub which was crazy when he tried the leg lock 😂 it was great comeback tho .. Diego also great win I wanted that 1st round ko .. etc but yeah great work 🎉
Good review. I agree I still prefer the original film more but this was a worthy follow up minus the subplots with different characters the humor was more funny in this one and a fun experience.
had one of these a few weeks ago did the same thing one sip and done:) hahaha still in my fridge cause it looks cool....prob should just throw it out hahaha.
wasnt feeling this one. im a massive fan of Beetlejuice, but there was no story for about 1 hour. No main story, just lots of sub plots. Delores was wasted, Astrid was the "I dont believe you" girl - uhm, didnt Delia SEE Beetlejuice? Why wouldnt she tell Astrid "Yeah ghosts are real i have SEEN them! My sculpture came to life!" id give this a 5/10. Betelgeuse himself was great. And im a big fan of Winona (she can basically do no wrong for me lol) so she was cool. I didnt hate this, ill but it on 4K etc. but i was disappointed.
It was a fun movie, but they should of done it a long time ago and could of done spin offs or something, it was a big nostalgia dump for sure, i grew up on the cartoon , than saw the original movie later well 2000s, 3 out of 5 beetles for me....
I spoke to Damien at a con (along with everyone from part 1 and 2 - Sienna is the best!) and i asked him if he was doing 3 and would it be more like Army of Darkness or Day of the Dead (as those 3rd films took different approaches) and said without a doubt Day of the Dead - so more serious!! Looking forward to it!!!! PS - so yeah, Sienna (Lauren Lavera) was so cool! She's one of the best final girls! PPS - did you see the Terrifier Short film and All Hallows Eve (the Art sequence)?
Looks good! I'll definitely be in theater for this. I usually avoid trailers these days, but come on, it's Art 🤡 You, me and Dan should do a review show on it. Great video 👍
wanted to go to this one, haven't been to San Jose in forever. if you get a chance you should check out Cape and Cowl Con in Berkeley on Sunday. i went last year and it was awesome, bunch if good creators, vendors and it's at a pretty cool brewery so you can have some beers if you're into that. free admission too.
I read the entire plot before going, because I don't like horror films, and it still scared the shit out of me. (Was staying with friends who wanted to go, so was forced.)
You did a good job on the video , however there is a common misconception about Dark Knight Returns. While yes it was dark and it did take the Batman Mythos into a great new direction, it was not the first Batman comic to return it to its darker roots after 66 TV series. This was done by Dennis O’Neil and Neil Adams who in the early 70s did this and introduced very key characters to the Mythos, such as Ra’s Al Gul and others. But yes you did a great job in the video however.
True, to a degree. While those issues did come first, I would argue that they still weren't as gritty and dark as DKR was. Miller took batman to another level of darkness in both tone and story/character portrayals.
Nah, usually positive, but the 100% rotten tomatoes rating is out of control. NO SPOILERS, but c'mon, chose between being a crime thriller or super natural content. They say 'silence of the lambs' of this decade, but if Silence of the Lambs had functional black magic in it, it'd be a non impactful movie
