Thank you for sharing! Lovely area……I bet you both were shocked with the prices 😱 Enjoy your last few days here……and then woohoo more videos from Sanur! 🤗
Hey guys, Love your Vlogs on RU-vid. I am also from Cairns and hoping to make my first visit to Bali especially your area in September. You both have sold me on Sanur for my first stop! Shane
Same here I can get the pension soon and would like to retire to bali but wife 5 years younger and apparently she has to return to Australia for 2 years before being eligible for age pension. I like to hear if someone knows different. Richard can you tell me who you used for visa etc. Love your vids mate
Australia is an amazing place with amazing people. However, it has become shockingly expensive like most of the West. I love to visit there but my visits get shorter and shorter each year due to the exploding costs. it seems that relocating to Indonesia/Thailand/Malaysia is the only way forward for people in our age range so that we do not have to work until we drop.
@@BalilifewithRichard a startling realization that came to me a few days ago is that when I leave the USA for Bali in a few weeks time, I most likely will never be able to afford to come back to the USA to live for the rest of my life. I am priced out of my own country unless I work until my till my last breath.
@@BalilifewithRichard - I meant 2 different platforms ( RU-vid and facebook) with content on Sanur by the same creator can be monotonous or duplicated. Some can do it but I’m sure you wouldn’t want to copy others formulas for your purposes?
8or9 $ for a beer pie7$that's nsw and the rest we are now the boat people escaping our country. For cheaper more replaced life. Especially like me still fit and on retirement pension. Ye ha.
Bali would be better to live with services for rubbish, water, power etc. but then it would be like Australia with a high cost of living. Food prices are better than Australia if buying local, but the rubbish is bad. They need to take a leaf out of Singapore books and build an incinerator power station.
Hey Richard, yes I agree that prices in Australia have gone up so much in the past 10 to 15 years. I've had a couple of trips to the Philippines and Thailand over the last 18 months and it really hits home just how expensive Australia has become. Not good!
If you think that's good value, you really should try warung Bellisimo.. The best breakfast in Bali for value.. 45.000 including juice and coffee or tea.
getting down and dirty, loving it. I am based in ADL, love to hook up on a call, as we are starting to explore business and RE options for clients that seek a lifestyle change.
