Self… I think this implies you are fighting the shadow self of Elliot or Claire. According to the devs Nights actually represents the “shadow.” Who knows maybe the fight is originally against Nights. They are a Nightmarren who originally stole ideya.
I remembered being terrified by the swimming reaver bots in that one hallway. Hard to destroy, had a very wide long range, and can potentially swarm. I had a hard time finishing this dungeon when I first got this game. XD The music though wasn't nearly as bad as the carbon forest one. The Carbon forest one sounded like an old run down factory still groaning of life otherwise that dungeon was easier by comparison.
Reminded me of real school where they have you memorize a bunch of facts in order to pass a test and then only use about 5% of that information for the rest of your life.
Whenever I hear this, I imagine it's an ancient nuclear facility housing weapons that would destroy the entire world. Considering that's basically what Juno's purpose was for the island, I'm not too far off either.
