This ending is so much better than the other one. The other ending was so freaking painful to watch. Even though I preferred this ending I would have loved to see a bit more cheerful. Poor Nian had such a sad life and it was just one bad thing after another. If Nian would have been a lot stronger and stick up for himself he would not suffered as much. I liked Xie but most of the time he was such a spoiled/righteous prick!!! This movie was great.
Asian dramas are way ahead when they depict love especially the danmei ones.. While watching these dramas not for once it strikes that they are homosexuals or heterosexuals.. It is all about love that takes shape regardless of caste, creed, age, sex... One of the best bl dramas..
