I had similar estimate on a 2021 tesla model 3 standard plus. EPA with the degradation was 230 miles. With 2 passengers, the AC was running full time. Going from phoenix to flagstaff totaled me roughly 130 mile range with +4.1% elevation on average. But I did a night road trip and the range was so much better going from grand canyon to Page. AC is the second biggest power consumer, some say 0.4% but I really doubt it. Difference between night and day drive was almost +30 some miles with the AC at the same temperature with average trip consumption of 229, while day time was 389. When I turned on manual from auto for the AC, with the fan set at 5. The estimate for range was so much more accurate. Return trip however was a different story since it was mostly downhill (neg elevation), it had estimated 245 miles.
I have a 2001 Ram 1500 with the V8 .My son bought it from a dealerships own truck it was only 2 yrs old. He drove it until 2 yrs ago when he bought a new Dodge and donated it to me with almost 405000 miles on it. He maintained it himself with no major Problems. I now have a over 406,000 on it. The timing belt has evidently broken as it seems I added as if it's out of time.I have added i quart since I had it. My question is how do you replace that belt .and how much of a job is it?
You are supposed to disconnect both terminals from the battery and then connect both terminals together to drain residual power that the ECU may have . the way your doing it the battery would need to drain before any power from the car would start to drain...
It was works perfectly fine for a couple days of course my transmission has the turbine speed sensor defective that is attached to the valve body that's something I have to fix thank you for your wonderful explanation and it does truly works, it does reset the transmission indeed!!
Mine has 300k on it as of last week, it leaks out of, well, yes. Other than that the only real issues are that the trans slips a little and it will overheat if I idle too long if it’s over 85° outside
Is it normal for my ideal relearn to start at 3000-3500 rpm for about 10 seconds and then drop to 500-1500 rpm for about 30 seconds and then it repeats itself?
Dude just hold the negative and positive terminals together for a min (disconnected from battery obviously) this allows it to ground out all residual power left in the systems
You can lock the car from the outside while the car is running by first locking all the doors from the inside then manually unlocking the drivers side then locking it from the outside using the little key in the key fob. When you want to unlock it, you use the little key again in the drivers side door. This is in case you want to leave the A/C running on a really hot day or something like that.
Did you just guess that this would work, well it won't because it is internet myth & will do nothing except fix minor issues such as resetting the check engine light. ecu capacitors will hold current for hours & nothing you have done here will drain them. So, your ecu will still remember the old parameters.
You got two different videos saying it resets the car..?? So which is right , do you remove both the negative and the positive and then link those together to reset it or do you just take off the negative and grounded out with the positive still attached to the battery? Which one do you do? I mean, messing up Cars bro you gotta decide which videos the correct video here.
Honestly it’s a steal bro, she started right up and sounds amazing and the interior looks great. I just got an 03 e500 in a trade and it’s mint inside and out, engine runs great but the trans needs the conductor plate to be serviced and the front suspension needs new tie rods and ball joints and she’ll be perfect! I’m excited to see the updates on the car bro!
OMG man! C300 2017, amg....I did the window hack because my rear passenger side window got stuck, but I could hear the motor engaging when hitting the down button but nothing when I clicked up. I did exactly what you said, stayed in my car, removed the push start feature and inserted my key fob to turn off the vehicle, held the lock button for 5 seconds and.......LIKE MAGICK THEY ALL ROLLED UP TOGETHER!! I just replaced alternator $1600 job about 2 months ago I was started getting worried that I would have to pay something crazy again! NOPE!
I have an 89 Dodge ram van 318 didn't really need to tune up but I did anyway in the 6 years time that I've known it it's never needed any work plugs wires cap rotor air filter immediately ran like shit. Check coil it was fine so replace fuel filter just recently found out that it may have the brain box. I've heard of disconnecting the cable watch the video and liked it my question is the tipm the same as the ECU is that the same as brain box? And what's the difference between a hard reset and a soft reset? Again the van is always drove by and it was our church van always had a tank of gas right now I run on here a lot and even ran out a couple times should I check the new fuel filter it's only been 2 weeks should I drop the gas tank and clean it? Not sure where to start and I know nothing about computers thank you
How do you know that I don't know about these things? What makes you so sure that I don't know. And after this I am gonna go buy myself a Mercedes to do all you said not to do. Freaking kid trying to teach people how not to do something. Do you even have a driver's license?
Make sure you forget to remove the fuses or ground connection from any audio amplifier you have installed before you do this so when you reconnect your battery your amplifier creates a huge cloud of smoke to brighten your day a lottabit....
I'm planning on pouring a slab, and I'm wondering how much time you had before the concrete started to set up. Also, what was the outside temperature? Also, you mentioned you did not use the quick set concrete.
Ssangyong Rexton 290 2002 automatic, would not shift to 4th gear and would usually shift very ruffly otherwise. After doing the reset, as shown in the video, shifting to 4th is no longer an issue. Also it shifts like a dream between all the gears now. Thank you very much good Sir!
