Also fun fact did you guys know that it’s a misconception that the moon is very close to the Earth it is way farther than that as a matter of fact in between the distance between Earth and the moon you could put 30 earth sized planets in between also there are roughly 200 billion galaxies in our observable universe maybe even 2 trillion galaxies
You didn`t mention the tax charged on virtually every item of food. You have to add tax to the label price of every item and the amount of tax varies from state to state. I understand that Florida`s taxes are quite high. And of course we here in the UK don`t pay tax on basic foodstuffs, only biscuits and confectionery, fizzy drinks, etc.
Oooh! the Kinda Co cheeses are so good. My daughter who lives in London buys us that brand for Xmas and birthdays 😁 edited to add Not from Selfridges 🤣
You'll probably never find a Heron's in London as real estate is too expensive, and would not sufficiently be large enough to carry sufficient products to result in a profit. Supermarket profit margins in the UK are between 2-3% on average. In the US, the margins are only 1-3%. One of the reasons why the US is able to operate on lower margins is that stores on average, are larger and base their profits on selling large volumes.
Yeah, its not really a good idea to be there on a budget, unless it was unlimited 😂. Me and my husband filled a basket full of fruit and veg in a local grocers today and it was just under £10.50. I would like to see you visit a local grocers to see what you can get for £10.
I love watching these videos. It’s great to look at all the different foods and what I cannot afford 😂. I am off to the West Midlands tomorrow for a week. I will be going to Roger’s for the first time and am quite excited to look around. I am sure my car will become full very quickly, lol. Will let you know how I get on at Roger’s.
Whenever I see crazy priced stuff I always wonder who would pay that for something like some of them foods were crazy high in price even if I was a Billionaire I still couldn't justify a lot of that stuff.....I get that some are a treat like the chocolates but for everyday essentials like pasta it's just crazy to me. Would probably cost less to get a flight to italy and get fresh pasta in an italian restaurant and then fly home haha
Hey freedom gang im coming to you live but not live from Canterbury Kent, how are you your both looking well!, I really enjoyed another fab video from you guys
All those fruit and vegetables looked so beautiful didn't they. " Nutty Bruce almond milk" thought it was Australian. Maybe not then. I treat almond milk to myself occasionally. Very yummy that nutty Bruce one
Train pal is actually really helpful because I'm going to london from ireland next week for the first time in years and have no clue about trains anymore
I didn’t know that Selfrigers did a food / grocery I had the impression it just did confectionery. Everything looks so asthmatic pleasing but it’s so expensive never seen oil for over £20 and popcorn and crisps where so expensive as well 💚💚
This video has made me hungry! I think I could quite happily spend my £30 on bread 🍞 🥯 and plant based cheese 😅That onion focaccia looked really tasty add a little cheese or chilli jam and perfection 😊
