Honestly speaking, relationships are so tricky especially when your partner doesn’t understand that you’re evolving. Like we won’t stay the same, we grow🥹
May you please advise me on this - hypothetically speaking , suppose you're dating someone who claims they're a believer and even you as a person can see that they're truly in love with Christ however , some of their actions do not align with Christ. I'm speaking of habits like smoking and drinking
We are all in our different journeys as believers of Christ. I'd say ask the person about it, what was the real cause of the habits and if they want to let them go because it all lies on the person. If you don't get the response you are hoping for; it then lies on your deal breakers to either you want to stay or leave
I realised that ( going back to what Palesa said ) dating someone who cannot be single doesn't work out because they're reason for feeling the need to always have a partner is they don't value themselves enough . They need someone who's gonna be constantly reminding them why they're valuable in life , why they are loved etc ...and to those people I advise that they learn to love , care and appreciate themselves more . Only after loving yourself can you be able to give out and receive love .
Being with a partner whose purpose aligns with yours is important, because you are both building a life together and how you going to do that if you both want different things and both your purposes are not in alighnment ❤️
