I don't think the depth of the squad is too bad either but the quality of the squad is the problem in my opinion, I really believe if we get 1 serious long term injury in the CB position and In the DM position we could see us struggle, I prey it doesn't happen, chiesa as others have said is a great bit of business too, I hope we can keep him fit.
I don't understand FSG, If they are in it for the money don't they understand spend money to make money, Buy a better class of players, which in turn will improve the team and squad, which in turn will help us to compete at a higher level, which in turn will help us win more trophy's, which in turn will produce a much higher return. I guess they aint willing to take the risks and so in my opinion they have taken this club as far as they can so should do the decent thing and sell up, I wish. 🙂
Don't think I realised quite how disastrous it was. It just never felt like a good fit, because he was good at managing teams who were underdogs. Coupled with an absolutely disastrous summer transfer window; signed a load of flops and lost the irreplaceable Mascherano.

Fool me once, fool me twice. The truth is he was never coming to Liverpool. Fans have to think logically this is the second time Liverpool have done this last year they waited till the very last minute to become active in the transfer window. Then when they did act it was an out of nowhere bid for a player we were never linked to in Caicedo. A fake bid in my opinion because of the amount of money they were offering and the fact that they knew he had no interest in Liverpool. Fast forward to this window we see the same pattern wait extremely to long and go for a player with no links that’s not interested in Liverpool. My theory will be proven correct if they go out and sign another pennies on the dollar midfielder or no one at all. We are being lied to. And it’s disgusting.
